What if insidious got the lethal pursuer treatment?
Right now insidious is mainly only used for camp instances or some cheaky mindgames. What if ontop of its current effect they just had it add 5 seconds onto undetectable and oblivious perks and addons? Do you think it'd see more use outside of camping? I would think with it supposing to be the "king of stealth perks" a lethal pursuer type effect would help give it that push? What do you think?

It wouldn't really make the perk see much use imo.
First problem is that the perk itself is just not that good. Lethal is a good perk with a good extra effect.
Second problem the most common form of Obliviousness you'll run into is from Plaything which has no duration and would therefore get no value running with insidious. I can't think of that many undetectable perks/addons I run into since 6.1.0. In general good forms of Undetectable and Obliviousness don't have durations to them. There's a couple of standouts like Tinkerer and the Nemesis addon that would love an extra 5 seconds to their effects, but I doubt anyone would want to be running 3 perks just for the sake of extending those durations.

Demo has a iri to i think. And pinhead has chatterers tooth. Theres a good bit of oblivious and undetectable addons i think? So on some people its helpful. But yeah i guess. Just feel itd make it better than currently.

Wouldn't mind if the Perk made you start undetectable for like ~40 seconds or more and add 10 seconds to every "Undetectable" duration effect.

I was thinking aboutvthis recently as well. Lethal pursuer effects for other abilities like undetectable. Like how LP makes addons stronger, Artist would greatly benefit for something like this because both of her iris is pitiful.
Extending the exposed and or undetectable duration for her would be huge.

Personally I think a first step for Insidious would be to shorten or eliminate the 2 second time. That 2 seconds is actually one reason I don't bother even trying it much. If it worked more like Wraith where you are simply Undetectable while standing still with no cooldown it would be a bit better. (Wraith is also totally invisible of course while standing still so he's even more effective doing this, but maybe if a killer could duck behind cover quickly and just be Undetectable it would be a little more flexible.)
But if that still wasn't enough then I could see adding a secondary effect like enhancing Undetectability times as an interesting way to go.

Here's a suggestion I made for changing Insidious back in 2021:
Insidious:
Overhaul the perk to - Reduces your Terror Radius and Red Stains Brightness by 5% for every 3/2/1 seconds you refrain from chasing or injuring survivors, upon reaching 100% reduction, you gain the Undetectable Status. Initiating a chase or injuring a survivor regains your TR and Red stain at a rate of 20% per second (5 seconds), once your Terror Radius has returned to normal, Insidious has a 40 second cooldown.
Explanation - This perk has been a bane on the game since it came out since it seems to have been specifically designed for the sole purpose of camping hooks. With this change however, a killer loses half their TR for spending 10 seconds away from a chase or injuring a survivor, and becomes Undetectable at 20 seconds. This is mostly meant for anti-stealth play, or for gaining a slight advantage in the early game wherein the killer is initially searching the map for survivors. Ultimately, it changes the perk from one encouraging camping, to one that rewards the killer with an advantage if the survivors are being too sneaky/evasive, and allows them to get the drop on survivors more often. The cooldown is necessary for this one because otherwise it would be heavily abuseable.
As for the survivors going up against this updated version, Premonition or Spine Chill still proc on stealth killers, so relying solely on the TR reduction is still no guarantee against those kinds of perks, and gives the survivors an advantage. Up until then, unless the killer has spent 20 seconds avoiding survivors, Aura reading perks like OoO, Alert, and Kindred still have an advantage for tracking the killer.

Chatterer's addon also prevents starting chain hunts when picking up the box. So no one really uses it because that's a huge drawback to the addon. I don't think people really use the undetectable iri compared to the aura one or at least I've never noticed a demogorgon use it. There's other undetectable addons that killers have, but not a lot of them see actual use because there's better addons to use.
Your change would make Insidious better, but it wouldn't really be used more. Buffing a perk doesn't really mean much if the buff doesn't make the perk useful. And while there are niche situations where the extra duration would do something, it also comes at the cost of being down a perk slot because insidious itself is still not a great perk.
I think it's a cool idea for what it is worth. I just don't see making Insidious that much better of a perk. For example, the change to monstrous shrine making basement hooks also scourge hooks is nice, but the effect and cost of the perk slot hasn't really made it see a lot of use despite Pain Res being a popular perk right now.

watching someone try and pull off an insidious mind game on a loop is the funniest thing ever.
WHERE DID HE GO?!?! I DUNNO HE JUST VANISHED.
Its literally the Drax meme of standing so incredibly still, I love it.

Eh it just needs to be reworked imo. Its existing effect is unhealthy (and also not particularly good despite being unhealthy), and that second effect probably isn’t worth using a perk slot for especially when a lot of stealth perks for killer aren’t really that good. By far the most used one is plaything which wouldn’t benefit from it.
Fwiw, I can’t recall ever having a killer attempt to mindgame me with this perk. It’s almost always used for camping, and even then most players don’t bother with it. Only other use of it I’ve seen is stuff like insidious nurse who waits for the gens to finish and then tries to 4k with noed/bitter murmur or something.

Insidious could get the Lethal pursuer treatment ... and extend all aura reading that were active when you stopped moving indefinitely until you, well, move again. Still wouldn't make it good, but could have niche usage. Heck, you could maybe get full aura reading while standing still for 7s and it would still be incredible niche .. but on high mobility killers (again) and/or Artist, this would be pretty brutal. Still, such a stop n go playstyle would be something new.

Insidious needs to be changed. Because it promotes inactive playing which the developer does not want. The perk is pointless only in Bubba's underground camp, which is a frustration for survivors.
Therefore, I would like to see the main effect itself changed. In addition to that, I agree with the addition of this 5 second undetectable and Oblivious.
PS: With or without Insidious, if a killer stops for a few seconds and moves again, the survivor will hear a loud and strange SE from that killer.
The nonsensical base kit that exists in Killer. I hate it and need to remove it.

It just needs a rework period since the only real use of it is to camp with Bubba or meme "guard the chest" builds.

Increase Undetectable duration of other perks and addons by 15 seconds and make it instantly put you into Undetectable when standing still.

I like the premise of this idea.
My own thought was give Insidious a touch of Dark Devotion: Activating it makes you "drop" your Terror Radius wherever you were standing. You become Undetectable while in the area covered by your TR and for x/y/z seconds after leaving it.

I had an idea similar to this, what do you think? I personally like the undetectable nature the perk provides, but just does it poorly.
Insidious
When a survivor is hooked, perk activates.
All survivors become oblivious for 20/25/30 seconds.
When a survivor occupied with an action, they do not recover from the oblivious effect.
