Pig is the weakest killer in DBD!

I mean, Piggy at least have a secondary goal for survivors, which is traps on a head, it puts aditional presure and preventing gen-rush.

And she at least have "some sort of" anti-loop, and she can sneak up.

Aside from these 3 that I mentioned... They are typical M1 killers without an any anti-loop ability.

No way Legion's worse than pig. No way. That is the fattest cap I've seen on these forums.

I disagree that she's the weakest. Her ambush is pretty rubbish, but she has some kinda-sorta reliable stealth (IE, you use it to sneak up, not to charge an ambush) and she has some really solid game delay. She isn't that great, I'd put her around low C tier, but there are killers that couldn't dream of delaying the game like Pig.

Pig's one of those killers that does have some value, you just have to really work for it. A killer like Clown, while definitely weaker than Pig, is a lot easier to approach- the bottles provide much less value but it provides that value much easier than Pig's bear traps and stealth. It's easier to just throw a bottle and get a hit than it is to really capitalise on the value that Pig provides.

Still, she is weaker than she needs to be, she could use some buffs.

...But that is game delay? What you're describing is game delay, they're spending enough time to run to two or three different boxes, and they're not on generators while they're doing that. If you're a good killer, and you have good map awareness + know what you're doing with Pig's kit, that's far more time than most other killer powers can give you.

She doesn't need headpops. She needs survivors to be scared of headpops so they stop working on generators and prevent the headpops.

I will do it again, Sadako has a restricted teleport and no chase power, Amanda (Pig’s actual name btw) has ambush and crouch which gives her stealth and a possibility of getting a surprise hit off, her RBT’s encourage survivors to not be on gens consistently, making them a minor slowdown with the only issue being that they don’t discourage gens well enough

Sadako’s condemnation also does something like this, but only if you can actually build her condemnation up which requires you to either teleport close to a survivor or a survivor willingly grabs a tape

If you actually think the RBT's are a "joke", if you don't understand how important innate slowdown is for a killer to have in their kit, and you don't see how big of a buff the change to the RNG to her traps were -- that just shows you don't understand how to play Pig at all.

You're 100% correct on both game delay and head pops. If you do get a head pop, that's a bonus, but it's the 3-4 box search multiple survivors have to do now with the RNG change that can grind a lot of Pig matches to a complete halt in the mid-game, giving her a chance to secure the pressure needed to win the game.

Pig isn't as good as her kill rates would suggest -- she's no Nurse or Blight -- but she's definitely NOT the worst killer in the game.

In that scenario, while you're in chase with one survivor, those other two are going to Jigsaw boxes to remove the traps (taking between one and four boxes to do), and then they're back on gens.

For any other low tier killer, you're in a chase with one survivor, and the other three are all on generators.

It's not that I'm defending her, it's that I think you're wrong. The slowdown she brings bumps her up out of D tier, and it's at the bottom of C tier where she remains. It's not that good, she's still weak, but she's not literally the worst.

It's attempt 1-4, but getting all four traps off requires 12 total searches, as per the new update that smoothed out her RNG considerably and made her slowdown far more reliable. People are mechanically incapable of removing all their traps first try now, which means that you will get slowdown out of her traps if everyone has one put on.

I'm not gonna argue with you about the ambush because it is pretty bad, it's easily the worst part of her kit. The stealth itself is... fine, it's not amazing, but you can use it to sneak up on survivors, that isn't countered by Spine Chill anymore. Also, who uses Premonition, lol?

What does Trapper do better, exactly? They don't really do the same thing.

I didn't played Pig at all, I'm not gonna lie, but I did played a lot of legion and I also watched a lot of CMWinter vids on Youtube, I can tell, that Pig makes more pressure and stronger in loops, than legion.=)

she has gotten a few buffs recently, addon pass and less rng to her traps making them much better than they used to.

she has some advantages to her like a basekit effective slowdown that's not as gimmicky as "condemned" and has something to try around pallet loops so she doesn't always have to run head first into them like sadako.

but sadako has an advantage of starting a chase else where immediately when she wants to after she gotten a pallet or two out of the way.

anyways you have a ton of other stronger killers to play so just go with them.

pig and trapper are always destined to be d tier and that's honestly ok they're leagues better than how they used to be at least.

CMWinter is the last person you should watch for good Pig tips. He lobby dodges a lot, he usually always runs tampered timer and crate of gears, he's always burning indoor maps etc.

If Scorpionz was still playing Dbd regularly he's the one I would recommend. He runs basic yellow and brown add ons, will take on any lobby, and never burns map offerings.

Trapper is worse. He can snowball sometimes with Traps but on certain Maps the Traps are clearly visible and can be avoided or disarmed easily. Pig has the Headtraps that can sometimes kill you if youre playing in soloq, cuz people just do gens as they feel like and most importantly, they are always a slowdown. Trapper doesnt have a slowdown, in fact he slows down himself by setting up traps.

Also the fact that STBFL is pretty good on Pig also makes her better than Trapper in my opinion.
