So if Nurse is the strongest killer why do people still camp with her
Nurse according to people to the best killer in the game earning the S tier rank for the fact she's balanced...then why do people camp with her if she's powerful there isn't a reason to camp then.

The pilot chooses the flight maneuvers, the plane just obeys.

Why set your game to easy if you can set it to very easy?
10 -
People will do anything with any setup.
8 -
Same reason why Blights do it.
Its the cheapest easiest way to get someone out early.
9 -
Just because she is strong doesn't mean the person playing her is actually good with her. Nurse is a lot easier since most of her bugs got fixed but to actually be really good with her is not as easy as people make out. At least not against survivors who are actually semi-decent.
Oh and there are always 'those' people who will play in this way no matter how much of an advantage they theoretically have

Because the player is trash at Napkin
3 -
because you can still easily loose if you play with "honor". Sometimes situations force you to do unfun but effective things in order to have chances of winning. This is valid for both sides btw

There is many reasons why killers camp.
Some are gameplay orientated, some are a skill issue.
I'll give you a few, if you've got no one hooked and 2/3 gens are done, camping is a way of fishing for survs.
If the gates are powered why leave a hook (potential kill) for the risk of getting another one.
Many survs are over altruistic so camping is generally a net gain. If the survivor mindset changed so that they stopped trying to save everyone then the killer mindset of not camping might as well. The best way to punish camping is to not reward it by adding to the body count.
And it's a tactic newbies do thats generally rewarded as mentioned above, and some people do it because they can, regardless of the killer.

Sometimes, with any killer, when you get one down and two or three gens pop you have basically three choices : camp, tunnel or lose.
The map may be busted, too big, full of LOS blockers. The survivors may be very careful and stealthy and you found your first a minute in the game.
Camping could get you a down or may guarantee a kill and slows survivors down.
Tunnelling may get you a kill and, with altruism, help to get some hits and slows survivors down.
Moreover, if the three other survivors ignore the camp/tunnel and keep pushing gens, you get another benefit: the game ends fast and you can go into another match.

Easier than putting the effort into learning her I guess

"Given the opportunity, players will optimize the fun out of the game."

Nurse isn’t even a good killer for camping. The last Nurse I faced was proxying every hook, and I caused the player to DC. (Though to be fair it was on Lery’s.)

Watch any video of tournament nurses. They still camp. It's the best strategy in the game. Tunnel and or camp someone out of the game then play the 3 gen 3v1.
"Good players don't camp" is the biggest scam you've been sold about this game.

Indeed, to say that "good killers don't camp" is to mix several things 😁
A player can be deadly efficient while playing in a dirty way, with a really abused build (hello, Supaalf); so, for the time being: efficient =/= cool.
A killer can totally camp / tunnel for a very good reason 😉
For example, if a survivor is way too greedy, being a smartass, taunting the killer ... he can only blame himself if the killer decides to teach him a lesson and he succeeds 😁
And of course, there are all the situations where the killer will have to put more pressure, in order to prevent the survivors from snowballing him 😙
I don't know if you can say that "good killers don't camp," but on the other hand, I would agree more with saying, "A killer who camps and tunnels in a hardway from the start is a ******"
PS : I don't take into account tournaments, where the only goal is to win, no matter what, I'm only talking about public games 😋

The statement should be clarified to say "Good players know when they need to camp". Unfortunately professional pub stomper content creators set the discourse for the game.

In my experience blights usually super tunnel one out they leave hook but come back instantly once the hooked one is saved.

Pigs Tunnel just as hard as any other Killer
It's a personal choice that one player makes
Plus is the community's fault that Camping and Tunneling got this out of hand... we over optimized the game even though it couldn't handle it

Because camping guarantees you a 3k at least
1 -
Because they probably can't play her lol.
I've seen even Nurses walk you down cause they are not confident in their blinks most of the time.

Cause despite all the certain Killer mains on here claiming Killers needed buffed so that camping and tunneling would happen less were full of it. Even though many Killers needed bones thrown to them, buffing Killers across the board and nerfing survivors across the board has been and will continue to be a mistake. It just makes camping and tunneling stronger. It only made solo weaker. These were horrendous changes that should of drastically killed the game's population, but the player addiction and them throwing out some big licenses with some actual events has kept it afloat.
How in the world anyone could look at how Nurse, Spirit, and Blight were S tier years ago before all the changes and not think these Killers need some nerfs is pitiful. Cause guess what? These 3 can kill most lobbies easy without tunneling and camping. But why put the effort in when you can just tunnel and BM people out? Cause them to DC or suicide? Good now they don't count in the all important stats.

Because they let her.

Just because shes powerful doesn't mean its a counter reason not to camp. They paid for the game they can do what they want with it even if it results in a ban.

Why do 4 man SWFs bring Eyrie of Crows offerings and purple medkits and stack genrush/2nd chance perks when they're already on comms?
1 -
Camping isn’t bannable.
0 -
Why do you make camping easy for the killer to do?
0 -
I never said it was bannable. I said they can do whatever they want with the game even if it results in a ban. Like how you could do whatever you want in a store but can get kicked out because policies.

Camping has nothing to do with killer. But rather the player..
but was a good try but poor logic

Insecurity.

"A killer who camps and tunnels in a hardway from the start is a ******"
Why does it matter when a player starts trying to win? Should they only start playing to win after they've lost 4 gens? Playing to win the game doesn't make you an #########.

You understood perfectly what I meant, no need to play on words.
But after all, you're right, I'm sure you'd love to have absolutely every killer in the game camp you out and tunnel you from the start of the game.
Don't hesitate to give us your in-game identity, so we can focus you absolutely if we come across you.

Yep, guess it says a lot about most people when 'honor' gets thrown out the window soon as the chips are down.

Gaslight much? I have gotten absolutely wrecked by killers who never camped/tunneled/slugged anyone.
Skill issue. Get good.
