Something I want to address to people that only play survivor.
What I’m pretty bothered about recently is we have some players that are calling DBD “killer sided” because of the recent changes that survivors have been getting. Some I did agree with and some I disagreed with about those balance changes. And you can be upset about what you want because you’re allowed to feel that way.
But now you kinda know how the other side feels because before the perk overhaul, killers were receiving nerfs patch after patch after patch with little to no buffs in compensation. I don’t agree with all of BHVR’s changes on both sides. And I’m not here to start an us vs them argument. So please keep it respectful in the comments. Thank you! 😊

Be respectful do you know where you posted right....these forums are far from respectful seeing how many are getting dinged by Mods.
But I digress....the whole thoughts on Killer Sided and Survivor Sided are moot since there are those on both sides that can counter argue the opposite.

I play survivor mostly these days, but started out killer and do play it quite often. I also got to rank 1 killer many times back when it took some effort to do so and real insta heals, pallet vacuums, "infinites" and what not were still a thing.
Overall imo killer has had it much better today than ever in the past.
Is one side better than the other, like the joe above me said in so many words, that is highly subjective - and in most cases stating one is stronger than the other is meaningless.

I don’t think either side is favored, to say so would suggest that a brand new player could just pick up the game and win every match with a certain role. This is a skill based game. I think people have a hard time excepting that they don’t get a trophy for second place.

The question is though, does killer “having it better today” mean that the game is now killer sided as some people like to claim? Or does it mean that in the past playing killer could be quite a miserable experience and only in recent times is killer more enjoyable?

"back in the day" there were infinites (as an example; shack had a vault where it currently is and where the pallet is, making it so no matter what killer did they could not catch survivors, this obv has changed) so the game is much better for killer now compared to then
compared to pre 6.1 the game used to be a lot more miserable for killer, dead hard being completely uncounterable, ds being 5 second stun and being able to be used aggressively, stuff like that is much better for killer now
as for balance, it currently varies per skill level. bad survivors vs bad killers the killer usually wins, at average level it can go either way, and good killer vs good survivors the survivors usually win. before 6.1 it was survivors basically won for free unless they made a series of unrecoverable mistakes
so game isnt killer sided, it used to be survivor sided, and the game is much more fun now for both sides

killers are killing much more now thats for sure, and solo q is pretty much guaranteed win for the killer with so many buffs and uncounterable sinergyes like eruption and call of brine every game.

Today I played 10 survivor games, I escaped 2 times and one of those killer DC'd right before obliterating us and another game I had a super good team that was getting super crazy flashlight saves, and that was a 2k still. If you want to speak about how the other side feels - this is why people say this game is killer sided.

But exactly that is the case. I like to read or watch videos called "New player reviews" and the overwhelming consensus is that killers get free kills while surviving can be really hard, depending on your random teammates. Just putting out there that that is still the case for not beginners with Noed giving free hooks and solo queue being hell. The game has issues that encompass ALL levels, not just entry
