Bite the bullet is underrated
Since the nerf on Iron Will I started using Bite the bullet and found its extremely good sure it doesn't cover your grunts of pain a chase but it's still relatively good as a perk I've been able to remain hidden directly near the killer while healing.
I don't find it over or under powered it has to be activated only at a certain time and it does assist with remaining hidden.
I haven't seen people run it that often or very rarely most of the time I see people still running Iron Will.

I've been running it a bit for the past few weeks, and it's quite good ! I really like it, except for the part where if you're being healed by someone else you're still loud as all hell, especially if you're playing Leon for example.
I'm running it with CoH, Shadow Step and We'll Make It, for fast quiet heals. =)

It does need some slight improvements though.
- Should also work while Mending
- Should also work when getting healed by another Survivor

I wouldn't say it should work for both sides, personally.
Mending? Absolutely.
Being healed? I wouldn't say to go that far, could lead to a lot of near instant heals that are dead silent, like top 1% medkit loadouts, Leader, boons, ect. Maybe the groans would be silenced, but not the bandages?
Either way, Bite the Bullet is godlike in the right hands, and in the right situations when you need a pick me up under pressure, or just needing to stealth.

Use it with nerfed SC and you can get old Iron Will for ages at any point killer gets close 😀

Lucky Break + Overcome + Bite the Bullet + Green Med-Kit with Gel Dressings and a speed add-on = more escapes and healing under a killer's nose than I can count.
It's become my go-to survivor build. It's not 100% guaranteed success -- you have to break line of sight, and a very good killer will get suspicious and catch you out anyway, but I've had tremendous success with it. Very underrated.
