Subtle cheaters are ruining this game
Title.
Its almost 2023 and this game does not have a replay option to see if a survivor is cheating or not.
Subtle wallhack cheaters,that always know where you are and you can never catch them because they know where the killer and every loop is.
Subtle repair and healing speed cheaters,that cheat just a little so you wont notice,subtle speedhack cheaters that speed up just a little.
If there are 300 cheaters in this game,I guarantee you BHVR doesn't ban even 20 of them,unless they mess with the currency.
And it shouldn't be the play job to have video proof,get out of the game,make a ticket,just so you can have 1 cheater out of 1000 banned,that probably has a lot of other burner accounts they can cheat on again and again.
Cheating is worse that the current balance problems and facecamping,tunneling,slugging,in this game.
And the report system in-game does not ban cheaters without proof,I checked a lot of profiles in the past of blatant cheaters and reporting did nothing.

No, they do ban any cheater that were properly reported with evidence.

What's the evidence when a survivor is wallhacking,you cant tell because it just look like they just evading you and leave early a generator.
The only way to properly tell if someone is 100% cheating is to have a replay system in this game which probably wont happend because of the bad code dbd has.
Also it shouldn't be a player job to always record his gameplay just in case he encounters a cheater,cheaters have made a playground out of dbd because the game has so many vulnerabilities and its so easy to cheat,especially since subtle cheats are so hard to spot.Even with video proof.

Exactly in the case of wallhacking - yes. You can't tell for sure.
Me too, I'd love to see a replay system, but... From scratch it's going to take forever to implement, since it's involved the match id system first.

This is the only way to properly get rid of subtle cheaters that wont get banned because you dont have enough proof..

Tbf, a couple months ago i used to have a cheater in my lobby every 5 to 10 games, right now, it's been a long time without seeing one, i think they are doing a pretty good job so far

Maybe or maybe they are just subtle and you dont even notice.
Its hard to tell the difference betwen 2 or 3% extra speed

Replay won't come to the game unless you (or the rest of the community) finds someone who recodes this game from scratch.
Or finds a simpler way to do it.

Impossible, since the game built such way, you can't implent recording.
And let me tell you, they won't release a new dbd game.
Also hackers and cheaters calling wallhacks as "legit mode" since they can't be banned for it, impossible to prove.
That's why most killer and survivors always knowing where you are, and just saying gamesense luuul, not even an aura reading perk, but always finding you even at most obscure places and heading towards the next victim perfectly.
Subtle cheating in this game massive, that's why I don't play anymore

As others have stated, the devs confirmed they would have had to include a match replay system in the original coding of DBD. Too late now, they'd have to recode the game from scratch, which they've said they have no plans to do.
I'm no fan of the current reporting method either, but it is all we have.

I would not worry about if someone is subtle cheating as that falls under things you have no control over. Do your best and move on to the next match. This is best for your sanity.

Yeah, if choosing to play, shouldn't worry about cheaters, since has no control over it, just play for fun, don't take seriously, can't prevent players doing it

I don't know, as you say is hard to tell, but it isn't impossible, when a survivor has hope (+7% haste) in the EGC you can tell that is harder to catch, if you are not catching up before the EGC has started you can smell that something is fishy.
