Hubris not being nerfed worry ke much its really good perk for M1 killers.

I didn't even want a nerf, it's just bad perk design that shouldn't even be in the game in the first place. Makes unsafe pallets even more unsafe.

Being pallet stunned shouldn't be a reward tbh
Like I know Enduring/Spirit fury is a thing but that's 2 perks for an effect that can only happen sometimes + that you need to put in some time for.
Whereas Hubris is just, there. Like It's not OP or anything but I don't like it's design all that much

I've been trying to get this 'stun the killer with a pallet 2 times in one game' challenge done for days.
How come when I play killer I take every damn pallet to the face, as it's the only way to get rid of them, but when I play survivor killers respect them so much they won't come within 2 miles of them if there's a survivor nearby?

Why? there are plenty of survivor perks that kick in and give benefit when they lose a health state, and are injured, heck there are whole perk builds that build around it.

Just how I feel about it, no like super logic to it
I just think being rewarded for making a mistake isn't super great. I know surv role has perks like that too and I'm not the biggest fan of them either

it's a meh perk that requires you to run other perks with it for it to do something. At like 90% of tiles if you stun the killer you'll be able to just hold W for the whole 20 seconds.

Is it a mistake if you're intentionally taking the pallet to the face?
Hell, is it a mistake if your choice is 'staring contest over the pallet area', 'continue to go around and around without closing any distance', or 'take pallet and move on'? It's not like most killers can actually down everyone before they get to a pallet.

No, you're saying you think it SHOULD always be a mistake, not that it IS always a mistake.
But for it to always be a mistake, you'd have to show that perfect play (with a killer that isn't Nurse) means you'd never get stunned. Particularly for killers without anti-loop powers, that seems frankly implausible.

The perk strikes me less as rewarding getting stunned and more penalizing dropping pallets early/wastefully.
The perk does nothing if the stunning pallet is dropped by an injured Survivor, the ones who should be dropping pallets to begin with.

Considering how many pallets in a row you have in matches, I think for M1 killers it's ok.
At least saving time against unfair rng.

Why nerf a trash perk? I'd say at least 90% of the pallets in the game you can just hold W after the stun and it's enough to last the whole duration of the perk.

Hubris has the same counter to it that Spirit Fury + Enduring does: Pre-drop. You only have to experience it once, or witness someone else fall to it to know not to attempt stunning the killer for the remainder of the trial. Anyone with even a few remaining brain cells can figure this much out, and it will make equipping Hubris a wasted slot. Furthermore, it only exposes a survivor who just stunned a killer for 20 seconds, so while this is an issue at unsafe pallets, it's not a problem for most loopers at jungle gyms, and god pallet locations since they can outplay/outrun the timer at those loops pretty easily (except against nurse, but honestly, when has stunning nurse been an effective strategy anyway?).
Methinks OP is putting hubris on too high a pedestal.

I think it's pretty neat. It's like you royally pissed the killer off and now you need to outrun their rage. I could imagine running this on Oni a LOT.
