I am absolutely not the first person to suggest this ever lol
I feel very strongly that Autodidact should give you like, a 1-3% skillcheck chance increase to help its purpose. I think it isn't used as much because of how inconsistent it is

Actually... I'd be up for it... at least increase the chance of a skillchep when you're having the penalization, in that way you could get rid of it in the early game.
