hey let's not put make your choice in the shrine when it's still abuseable by the knight
the knight can use his power directly next to a hook and bring his phantom far enough away to let myc proc, then when it activates he can deploy a guard and instantly down the unhooker. why now of all times are you putting this perk in the shrine?

Where do you draw the line between abuse and synergy?

When a power circumvents a condition put in place to make sure it's not broken powerful, thats abuse. Synergy would be closer to Nurses where she still has to be out of range and blink in, which might not work out or she can miss a blink.

make your choice is designed for when the killer themself is far from the hook. the game considers the knight's phantom to be the killer's position which isn't accurate at all since after a guard is deployed the player goes back to their initial position. there's no chance this is intended design and is extremely unhealthy for the game.

i don't think you're understanding the problem. the knight can use his power next to a hooked survivor and hold his phantom past myc distance, which allows myc to activate even though the knight will go back to the hook immediately after deploying a guard. this lets him use the perk while still camping the hooked survivor.

i'm not asking for myc to be changed i'm asking for it to not be made more widely available when a bug like this is in the game

Let's say you choose from several methods that can be done for MYC knight.
1. knight's kill switch
Certainly a kill switch of a knight with numerous other bugs would solve the problem, but from a business standpoint it is difficult to kill switch a just-launched killer.
2. kill switch for MYC
Yes, it is certainly effective, but there is no need to make anyone but him unusable when he is not buggy except for KNIGHT!
3. change of shrines
Considering that shrines change every week, I don't think the developers will spend the effort to change them for a few more days.
My choice is 4. report players who abuse MYC knight.

You can also forget your 4th choice. A dev said many days ago that Knights using MyC on that way is not reportable.
