Other’s DCing = My Depipping
Just had a game against Pinhead. Right off the bat I know it’s going to be an arduous match. Then someone dc’s. Then another. Then another. Why am I getting punished for other survivors crap decisions?

You dont have to escape to pip. You can still do gens and unhook other survivors and go on a decent chase and you will pip

Not if their entire team immediately dc’s.

they all dc’d almost immediately. I did make hatch. Depipped. That’s the issue.

Stop worrying about pips. Play enough and moving up is inevitable. If you don’t play enough then it doesn’t matter anyway.

I just made a post about this earlier today. Had the same thing happen. I did the o ly gen that got done. Two survivors suicided on first hook and the third DCed when they got slugged.
I understand BHVR can’t do much for hook suicides because there’s no way to know whether or not it was intentional Mostly, but for matches where someone DCs we should get an automatic safety pip at the least.

after struggling so bad to reach iri rank 1 previous month I honestly gave up on pipping at this point and I would suggest everyone else to do the same, it literally means nothing and you will get bunch of blood points anyway since no one wants to play survivor these days so there's always 100% bonus reward

LOL And you think it’s possible to do all this with three early DCs and a killer who goes ahead and kills you, rather than letting you play a little? Come on now.

I get it but then Pips really mean nothing these days and even with all the DC's etc I still get Iri 1 within the first two weeks after reset... it isn't too hard to black pip even with DC's

That used to be the case back when the game was better balanced. Nowadays matches are so ridiculously one-sided, I‘m stuck on the same silver(!!!) grade for 5-6 days and can’t move up because there are so many games that go bad so fast that I keep depipping back to 0 pips, and when I win the killer had so little pressure that it’s only a safety pip.
