well had a game against a bubba when all of us survivors had 200 ms and he had a red ping icon so he also had around 200 ms... However there was only 1 red line on 1 survivor in the lobby. Why was it removed? and why cant we see the killers ping because its kinda both sided i wouldnt want to play against survivors with 200 ms nor a killer with 200ms

I agree that all players should have their ping to the server visible, it would be far more useful information than things like prestige level.

That said, im sure they dont want to do it due to the fact it will rightfully lead to lobby shopping.

yea well atleast your own ping i mean that or remove dc penalty because there is no way in hell they can expect you to play with 200ms i men the bubba got a chainsaw hit on me like 6 meters away... Its unplayable for both sides and it happens like once every 100 game so

So take note of his ping and play in the future, like you would with latency in any other game. It absolutely sucks, but as long as the ping is consistent you can adapt and do things like predrop appropriately, just always assume they're closer than they appear, and play more predicatively than reactive. Not the perfect response or reaction, but its the best one we can do individually.

Again, I agree with you, but they're unlikely to change their mind due to that reason, so the best I can offer is a way to minimize its impact.

yea i mean when i have bad ping i do predrop more often since stuns are incosistent but ive like never had a match with 200ms and the killer having 200ms sometimes on very very rare occasions i do get like 70 80 90 ping which i think is really high :D My point is a few months ago you could see your ping and you have been able to for years why did they remove it (in the lobby) like i dont really see any reason

Although i fully agree and they should make the pings visible in the lobby like it used to be, as survivor seeing the killer oing and vice versa.

But i also understand they have removed it.

That way they can keep the matchmaking more flowing, if the ping was visible then people wod skip these lobbies.

    Do i agree with it?

Definitely not, because this way it will make games more frustrating when you could have skipped that lobby and go in a lobby with a good ping.

I mean bad ping is a big problem but from what I learned it's good that we don't see it anymore.

Would you under any circumstances stay in a lobby with a killer with bad ping? No of course not and I wouldn't to. The problem is we have many players that can't have a good ping because bhvr doesn't give them there own servers so they only can connect to one far away. These players effectively would sit in search for ever cause everyone would dodge them.

System would be fine... if we would have more spreaded servers. Take russia for example. The closest server is Frankfurt, Germany!
