Unbreakable should never be base kit
Can you imagine the amount of attempted bullying….
*Killer downs a survivor*
*Survivors with flashlights or flash bangs swarm in*
Then the killer is left with the predicament of attempting to pick up the downed survivor and risk getting flashlight stunned.
Or try scaring off the survivors with a successful m1 attack, and risk the downed survivor getting up with base UB.
Just no.

I hope it doesn't make it in the state it was during the PTB but shouldn't ever is a bit far. With enough restrictions I could see it being a healthy change.

its 45 seconds thats half a gen its a really long time i honestly thing this will favour killers more because now you can win really fast if you play something strong like iri head huntress ^^ and just proxy camp your slugs and hooks

yea but ub rn is 20 sec so whatever. You can always run knock out or just not slug 4 players... I mean sure as a twins player i dont like this at all. I mean i do think it will favour killers during the end if there are like 2 players left or possibly 3. But against good survivors i think this will buff the crap out of them... (on the good side they will bleed out eventually and well they cant do gens)

It will not really favour killer. What exactly would be the difference to now? If you slug now with iri huntress they need unbreakable. With the change the last survivor can hide for 45 seconds and doesnt need to make a move.
Yh right now you dont get an animation that enda the match, but the match is still over innmost cases.
The only buff for killer is in the endgame, when survivor could crawl out without the change. Or the rare occasion, where the last survivor goes down faster than unbreakable. And 20 seconds is not much.

What the game needs isn't exactly unbreakable basekit. It is a flat 30 second unmodifiable timer that says, 'you've been down for 30 seconds, now you aren't,' and picks up the survivor regardless of their healing progress.
That gives some play for finding the last or chasing away the swf, but also puts a time limit on those killers that exploit the four minute bleed out timer every single game.

It should be a thing when 2 survivors are left so we can reture the whole "slugging for the 4k" idea. It doesn't incentivize survivors to do gens right now nor help each other if they wanna get hatch. At least that way we might either incentivize killer to hook the 3rd survivor or risk losing both. Perhaps when 2 survivors are left they should also gain repair speed as there are no comeback mechanics at the moment for survivors. perhaps it would incentivize survivors also to work and not simply hide.

You shouldn’t have to run a perk to counter a base kit.
Similar to Survivors stating you shouldn’t have to run Iron Will against Spirit complaint back in the day. Same thing

Sitting on a generator 45 seconds feels like ages. During a good chase it’s completely the opposite.

The 45 seconds wasn't the issue, the issue was Unbreakable halving that, which opened up a bunch of possible ways to exploit it.

Agreed. Against good players it’ll lead to survivors getting bled out to secure the kill. Which’ll end up hurting your rank rating and BP

I mean, STBFL, Brutal Strenght and the reduced speed boost should have never been basekit as people are using this to stack perks and shove off lots of time out of chases to the point that solo q can't stay on chase more than 10 seconds, but now it's here and we have to deal with it.
I'd recommend never unequipping Lightborn or Franklin's. I don't care how little meta they are, they never leave my builds and I just care very little about who tries to play hero. Whenever someone does, they end up getting stabbed.
Also, the "basekit unbreakable" is still 45 seconds. I've never had standoffs last more than that, neither as a survivor nor as a killer. And even if they happen to last that long, survivors still need to equip soul guard to not instantly fall after picking themselves up. At that point, if they extend the chase a couple more seconds they kinda deserve it.
The only thing that will change with basekit unbreakable is that people will not be able to down one person and go on an adventure all around the map finding more people and skipping the entire mechanic the killer gameplay is supposed to revolve around: Hooking people.
