So private profile removes option to report players?
Just faced 2 situations. One dude was a super toxic person who was saying things like threats in a post match lobby. The other dude 2 matches later was a hacking killer.
The real issue is that those 2 "players" were on steam with hidden private profiles activated in Dead by Daylight. And the only option for them was only to block INGAME. You can't watch their profiles, you can't even report them. So what is the option for such situations? Sending support tickets is useless because it could be helpful if this game had match ID system where you can see which match it was and send a specific match example with match ID.

You can. SteamID is no longer required.
Chat abuse doesn’t need a followup ticket, since the chat is logged with the report.
Not sure what you mean with that you can’t report them in-game. You are still able to. The button may be a teensy bit displaced, but it’s still there.

I found it by clicking various elements, like the name, their status, or their score. Can’t immediately recall which one it was.

You want to be looking for a thumbs up thumbs down icon. That’s the commend/report screen.
