when will console get K&M support??
when will console players be able to play with keyboard and mouse??
ive pretty much made the switch on most of my favorite games and the newer games these days have it. so i figured that maybe id ask..
end game chat would be cool too.
thatnks for reading this i just dont want to have to deal with potential input lag using those stupid devices that let you play any game you want using k&m so if they just put it for consoles as an option i wont have to...

Our PC cousins seem to view the end chat as dubious and perhaps not worth having around. I'm willing to bet a good many of them keep it closed.
M&K support has been asked for many times, and during the last Q&A stream they said again they have no plans to add it. A few years back they gave their only reasonings as it would take too long, take way too much effort, and require a UI update as well.

No end game chat.
Last we heard, they aren't interested in adding KB&M

Cant you just use a xim adapter for keyboard and mouse on console?

At that point, just play on PC. You also get more FPS and customization and can do a lot more.

Not everyone has a PC my guy

He essentially wants to play on PC but a handicapped, bad version of PC. These devs can't even optimise an ugly game to run properly on console, mega doubt they'll add KB&M support, he's better off looking into a PC, MY GUY.

Not everyone can afford one.
Not everyone wants to start over after thousands of hours.
Not everyone wants to re-purchase everything

PCs are more accessible than they've ever been. Are you stuck in the 80-90's or something? If you can afford current gen consoles every cycle you can afford to save for a mid-range PC, low at worst.
Sounds like you should cry to the devs for not following up on their promises of cross-progression years ago. DLC, you know what you were getting into buying a non-AAA game with tonnes of DLC, doubt the devs will ever do anything to alleviate that because M O N E Y.

You don't buy a PC for a mid-range system. You buy a PC to play serious and to have the best experience possible. Chip prices are still high right now too
You can buy a console for cheaper and it'll be better than mid-range PC's. Unfortunately, I know my stuff.
I've spent years trying to get BHVR to do anything to help Console players.

Ok dude nice cap, enjoy 30-60 FPS depending on the console, while I play at 120. Joker.

Believe me, very little good comes from end game chat so don't be in too much of a hurry for that. You will likely turn it off even if you had it, as it is generally better for your sanity

I don't know what "cap" you are referring to but @Pulsar is anything but a joker.
His crusade to improve the performance of consoles resulted in what is probably the single longest thread in the history of this game.
While I agree that a machine that wants end game chat and mouse and keyboard is basically a PC, that doesn't change the fact that adding such things to consoles wouldn't hurt a thing. If someone on a PS4 wants a keyboard, I don't see the problem. Consoles are already notoriously a step behind on FPS and controls for things like Deathslinger aiming compared to PC. Closing that gap is a fair step forward.

Ah, one of those types.
Seen it. Try to be original next time.

Our biggest regret is that it accomplished nothing.
We never accomplished what we set out to do. Performance is still sub-par and there's still no 60 FPS

Didn't the developers technobabble something about microseconds per blah blah during a stream or something?
1 -
Yes.
It basically means there's a bottleneck in the CPU, iirc.

Sad but true fam.
Lots of effort just to get a "this that and those over there means we just can't get em up to 60 frames..."

I believe those do work for the PlayStations, but last I heard one trying to work with DBD (and just DBD) is severely limited on Xbox. Things like the joysticks are dead, cannot turn self or camera, no buttons work, etc.
Also they're like $240 usd or so.

Very few players with thousands of hours are willing to rebuy everything for DBD and regrind everyone from scratch. You know the grind of this game, no matter what changes they've recently made.
Cross Progression is pretty much a fantasy for those of us on Xbox or PlayStation, and apparently for our Switch cousins as well. Knowing this, OP's request for M&K support is very reasonable.
