Camping and tunneling may destroy the game.
And i know that this topic was there a few times.
And i know that "survs enjoynment is not my buisness", and i have to win....
But
We are all playing the same game. We are wants to play this game. But increasing frustration from tunneling and camping can put away lot of people from this game, and who i will hook if there will be no survivors?
Entity feeds on emotion, not necesairly death.
Lets make 8h an actual game design rather than: "kill them as soon as possible", and "3 survs are easier than 4 survs" mindset.
I rarely play as surv and im bad at it, but i know how frustrating is to be catch and hooked 3 times in a row, or being camped to death... where is my game i payed for? Did i payed for being hooked for 2min watching killers butt and soe weird tentacle-spiderlegs? No, i payed for having some fun, a thrilling horror based fun - being chased, being slashed, and ultimately hooked/sacrificed or escaped.
As killer i know that and do everything i can to NOT tunnel and not camp.
Yes, sometimes i loose games. But this is how it is - sometimes you loose. But not 2.5min after start of the game, where 2min was being hooked... its bad and frustrating.
I have no idea how to prevent tunneling.
But for camping. There was lot of suggestions, like this:
When survivor is reaching 2nd phase of sacrifice, if killer is closer than 40m of hooked survivor, then survivor is teleported to random hook further than 40m of killer. Killer cannot see the aura of survivor on its 2nd stage unless carrying another survivor. If another survivor is closer than 25% of killer distance from hooked survivor, then teleportation will not occur.

You aren't entitled to your conception of "fun" because you purchased a product. What you're entitled to is to play the video game. That's it. Fun is what you make of it, it's entirely subjective. "Camping and tunneling" are also largely subjective with no steady and consistent definition. Everybody's got their own ide of what that stuff is. Many have a very very loose interpretation of what it is.

What you are saying is that i should be happy by hanging for two minutes of my two and a half minutes of game time? Got it.
But im not the only person who hates it. And either devs will convince players that its fun for just hanging on a hook, or player frusration will reach critical point, and there will be noone to play as surv.
Yes, i know that at the moment this is how this game is played.
What im saying is that game design CAN be altered to make it more enjoyable and less frustrating.
Removing camping, tunneling and slugging, with buffing killers at the same time in a way they will still be able to reach 60% kill rate but with other means would do the trick.
For now, tunneling is require to secure 1 kill and remove 25% of survivor survival chance and end in win game for killer.
But killer should be able to win the game without this methods AND those methods should be mechanically banned, to prevent killers from doing this.
You may say that im egoistic to say that others have to play as i see it... but with this logic, you (and campers and tunnelers) are also egoistic because the same reasons... even worse, because im just talking about this, and tunnelers are forcing their playstyle on others. So with this logic im even more right.

Because killers can't pressure by injuring anymore. Say thanks to CoH, neverending med-kits and so on.
In current meta you either kill or get gen rushed.

It's just that 3 out of 5 times you kill. Which never ever was the case in history of DBD. Yeah. "Killers are in the bad spot now"

It won't.
People have been complaining about this for years and yet the game is just fine.

except camping and tunneling is in the worst state its ever been in, besides the increase to gen time, the incentive to camp and tunnel has reduced dramatically.
