Knight's stats PROVES that he need emergency buffs!

Ah yes, stats, so reliable...so I guess we're buffing nurse as well since her avg is something stupid like 45%?

It's an emergency! Call 911!
Nothing is an emergency as far as DbD is concerned. Usually, they take weeks to fix even the most game-breaking of bugs. Their hottest of hotfixes are cold enough to make you see your breath.

Gotta say... with a game with really no concrete MMR system. Using kill and escape stats or even use stats to balance the game is really not the play.

Eh.
I find this strange dichotomy with Knight. On the one hand, I do find him to be weak. On the other, I have been getting excellent use out of him. He's extremely good at macro pressure (duh) and can absolutely hold 3 gens like no one else.

1. He's a new killer with a high learning curve. People need to take time to learn to play him instead of expecting to be experts straight off the bat. If in a few months time there is still an issue with his kill rates, then the devs need to make changes as necessary.
2. Pretty sure those are Nightlight stats, which are only a small sample of the player population (English speaking sample) and also entirely reliant on people being honest about their results. BHVR have the real stats taken directly from the games.

He has been out for 3 weeks.
This includes all the first week clueless adepting Knights.
Like the majority of characters these days he comes with 2 mediocre perks and 1 good perk. Let's see his winrate in 3 months.
Nightlight stats for Wesker,
Wesker first month - 12.7% pick rate, 54.41% Kill Rate.
Wesker second month - 8.59% pick rate, 56.23% Kill Rate.
Wesker third (and current) month - 6.27% pick rate, 55.34% Kill Rate.

I am of the opinion of who needs a “camping Bubba” when you have a “Knight”.
1 -
Why are we using websites like NightLight to dictate what needs changing lmaooooooooooooooo
2 -
This literally proves OP's point. Wesker remained at a stable, balanced 55% kill rate or so, which would imply that Knight will remain at the poor 48% kill rate, which is 7-12% lower than the average that BHVR is allegedly shooting for.

who needs camping knight when you have bubba that can do the job much better?

Bubba is too fun to just camp with. It honestly makes me sad how often he's relegated to the Camp Champ.

Nightlight kill rates aren't even accurate when compared to the ones Behavior officially released. They are actually meaningless.

Nightlight is biased, using mostly games of experienced players (few new players know about Nightlight) on english speaking countries.
So it can't be the basis of buffs and nerfs, though it's still good to see your own stats.
Also, as others have said, Knight is very new, a bit buggy, and has a high learning curve. He needs time and a bugfix more than a buff right now.

Considering the stats of that page the Piggy need nerfs because she have the highest kill rate right now and also she is the proof that considering the stats for balancing killers is a mistake, BHVR do it and it is the reason why she stay in trash tier.

Problem is, Knight has an incredibly un-interactive and unfun design at his core, so buffing him will just increase his pick rate and I definitely don't want to see that (I am sure I am not alone in that).
The Knights I see who actually use his anti loop ability effectively seem to do pretty well against the average solo queue lobby. Just my personal opinion but buffing really unfun killers is not a great idea, keep their pick rate low as a way of mitigating the mistake of their existence lol

i wish it was less about stats and more about how the killer experience is. I just wish there was more of mastery between a really good knight player and middle-low knight player. More of skill-ceiling(less relevance on add-on, better base-kit), more add-on leading to elevated power-level rather then plaster fixing a poor base-kit.

bHVR has better stats than Nightlight

Why are we using stats to prove people need buffs? Sadako has a higher win rate/pick rate than Nurse but Nurse literally is the strongest killer. I thought we learned our lesson about using stats to justify things

You're comparing Nurse with Knight? Are you having a laugh?
0 -
That's kind of their point lmao, Nurse has worse kill rate on average, so clearly she needs emergency buffs even more than the Knight :)

I mean, I'm comparing the laughable stats of the nurse to knight, I'm just saying stats are garbage to rely on

Nurse has over 50% and dc are exluded from stats so that's not really telling the truth. My soloQ teammates dc usually when they hear scream or get hooked fast. People just give up and dc agains't her more than any other killer.

Even if these stats are accurate (which i doubt), i fail to see the problem with a barely under 50% killrate, dude's been out for barely a month and has a pretty high learning curve, quite frankly i'd be shocked if it was 55 or even 60%
