How would you feel about a perk(s) that can be used by both Killer and Survivor
For example,
Resource: Token Booster
Whenever you'd gain a token for any reason, gain one extra. The perk has a cooldown of X seconds.
So as killer you could use it to say gain two tokens on STBFL/PWYF every once in a while and on survivor you could get stacks of Autodidact/Hyperfocus.
That's just a simple example that could be changed but what do you all think of the idea itself?

I think bHVR is over effects like that, Old Tinkerer would be an example of that.
it was not pretty. It was very unbalnced.

Yeah, the perk could be changed any which-way. I was more curious of what people thought about a Perk(s) that could be used by the killer and survivor at the same time instead of limiting it to one side.

We would like to at least see what would happen in a test run for perks like these. Could spice up things.

I think it would be too hard to balance. Your example, for instance, is already a risky pick. It may look fine for things like Stakeout, STBFL or Distortion, but it's going to be a nightmare on Potential Energy.
Any perk that can be used by both sides basically doubles its balancing load.

I think... what's the point ☹

We almost have that, with Windows - Zanshin Tactics, and to a lesser extent Fogwise - Gearhead.
I think it's a fun concept !

That's a fair counterpoint. I figured the effects would be something simple as far as balancing goes since they'd have to be general perks. The token thing was the first that came to mind and I figured a long enough cooldown would be fine to offset any OP-ness that might come from such a thing.
Eh, just to add some more general perks to the game for both sides and for something a little different. I don't remember anyone else bringing this up before so I thought I would since as far as I know, it's a unique suggestion.
That's true. Perks like that could be changed a little to have the same effect, made into a general perk and then the originals could be reworked to have new effects all together.
Thanks for the replies everyone. ^_^
