Should all gen regress perks deactivate once first survivor is killed?
it's the treatment they gave Ruin although i think most would agree it's not the reason Ruin is bad.

No unless they nerf Gen Speed perks because if they did that then let's say the Survivor they killed didn't have any Speed perks but the 3 left had them and now they have no perks to defend against it.

As it is Ruin should not even be a hex, at this point.
I think most gen regression perks are fine, it's rough if they're stacked, but they shouldn't deactivate. As a matter of fact, I think no perk that isn't a hex / boon should be permanently deactivated at any point in the game unless they've accomplished their purpose (like Corrupt deactivating once the killer gets a first down, or Unbreakable having been used).
And if they do get deactivated permanently, they better get a really good effect. Corrupt is nice because it allows setup killers to setup, and an early down from other killers. Sometimes both. On the other hand, Grim Embrace does not nearly have a good enough effect for its requirements and the fact that it only happens once.

Ruin deserves a rework
-Not a hex anymore
-Once a survivor is put on a hook all gens start regressing at 150% speed
Done, decent perk that also kinda counters the kick meta

Go ahead. This would still benefit the survivors infinitely more. The only gen perk that shows up in an average game is prove thyself anyway.

Poor Oppression might as well get deleted at that point.

I have seen more than just Prove in matches...Prove is just a staple of any build outside of meme and or bully builds. I have even used Potential Energy to break a 3 Gen or get that one dangerous 1 man Gen done before the Killer could react.
Once more players realize how to use PE properly then we will see faster Gen Repairs and less 3-Gen issues.

Just rework Oppression too
Remove the cooldown, done

There are certain perks that are extremely oppressive, Ruin isnt that anymore as far as I have been informed, if it was 200% I could see it justified for it to be a Hex totem AND a shut down after 1 dead. But just 100% are you kidding me bhvr?
