They will never do this as they have no way to moderate voice chat.

Say I'd we did implement, it would cause alot of problems, headaches, and would mostly have this setting be turn off or completely have thw whole playerbase demanding it would be removed on day 1.

*Ingame Voice chat quality might not be as good as Discord, and would be hard to understand through game noise.

*Discord or some third-party Voice chat will be far superior in giving information to your team of friends, then promixty/in-game Voice chat; as it conceal valuable information for you and friends over giving unwanted random whom can used that information to troll you or bail on you; or worse....

*giving the killer no need to relie on detection perks, as hearing Survivors's microphones will be a dead giveaway to their stealth and plan for their Survivors information to take advantage of.

*Also, Voice chat from a dbd lore aspect just doesn't make sense as the Survivors don't speak with each other beside small emotes and teabag; and vc would removed the silence and element of stealth. Simply put, it doesn't fit the theme of the horror multi-player game.

*and saving the worse (best) reason why it should never be implemented; is the level of toxicity in chat. Imagine going into a game, and hearing your teammates screaming racial, toxicity, minors screaming and being annoying, etc. Echoing into your game, especially if you are a solo player. I doubt there isn't a proper way to filter out the voice or get proper bans and punishment to those type of folks. Good luck trying to report and police the voice chat also!

For the sake of headaches and keeping the toxicity under control, it overall much better to not implement voice chat at all.

BHVR has already said they will never ever do voice comms/in game chat.
