Poor ping and latency

I've been having really bad latency and ping the past weeks and it's to the point where I get hits (or bounds as wesker) that i shouldn't get and I'm afraid that people think I'm hacking or cheating when it's just my game being really laggy

I live in the U.S. and play on east servers, is anyone else having this issue?

    I've been having the same issue since I've started playing, and even though I live in the midwest, I shouldn't be averaging 76-120 ping with good internet and connected to ethernet. I am relatively close to both NA servers for it to not even be that high, and I have even tried changing DNS servers and that maybe removed.. 4 ping?

    It actually sucks because that ping may not seem bad but it's definitely noticeable. There's also streamers I watch that live on the east coast with 1gig up and down that average the same ping as me and that doesn't seem legit at all. I just assume it's bad netcode because there have been instances where trials I've been in almost crapped the bed and it definitely feels like DBD servers more than my own internet because I average 20-40 ping on MW2.

    It could be my internet as it's not just dbd that has bad connection but it feels like it's gotten severely unplayable the past month or so
