Regarding the dishonest messaging, I am referring to this tweet from September 2022:
Starting today, we’ll begin adding Shard prices to outfits previously only available with Auric Cells. This will be done in batches of a few characters at a time, starting with the original Survivors: Dwight, Claudette, Jake, and Meg. (2/4)
Going forward, new non-licensed outfits will release with their usual Auric Cell price, receiving an Iridescent Shard option 4 weeks following their debut. (3/4)
If you have Iridescent Shards burning a hole in your pocket, we hope you’ll find no shortage of outfits to spend them on! (4/4)

Yup that's all we can do I have been given back lash in the past on these forums for giving my opinion and got into arguments...now if I see I won't have a decent civil discussion I usually will stop responding to save the headache

Why was Jeff sweater removed from in game store to be made into time limited seasonal cosmetic but not removed from real life DBD official merch store? Shouldn't that be removed because "seasonal and no one would buy it outside Christmas"? Or does that excuse only apply to pixels? 🤔 😂

Limited time cosmetics is a horrible decision. As a veteran player since 2016 it’s actually quite saddening to see this marketing tactic now in action. :/ I used to buy literally every cosmetic on release. I stopped because of choices like this.
I hope this decision is retroactively quashed and that all winter and sweater cosmetics remain in store… :/

In case you were curious they also have the "Halloween" tshirts for Feng and Jane to buy year round in the DBD merch shop.

Honestly you should let them be available all year long but outside the season just double or even triple their price until the next one.

So have it at full price year round and then "in season" put them on sale for discounted price like they already were doing before?

i am so lost as to why anyone cares, or why its supposed to be scummy. the christmas skins are special, so they make them limited and special. so...?
like either way theyre still just cosmetics i dont get it

It’s different when it comes to cosmetics that were already in store permanently. Such as the ugly sweaters. It’s still new for bhvr to do. And majority of the player base aren’t used to it and would rather buy them when they can / want as how it always has been.
