A list of every license holder so far who has come out in support of having their IP featured in DBD
The following is a compiled list of as many license holders i could find who have publically come out in support of having the character(s) from the IPs they own featured in Dead by Daylight, if i've missed any then feel free to tell in the comments below so i can add it in.
Edit: Just to be clear, the purpose of this entire thread is just to objectively catalogue as many of these kinds of post as possible regardless of their popularity/obscurity or chances of coming into dbd itself, nothing more and nothing less.

I've heard of two of these.
One I didn't know was even horror, I thought it was a kids game.
The other rubs me the absolute wrong way and it just seemed like a bad movie on top of it.
The others I've not heard of, so I'm not opposed.

Phantasm also. While not directly, Don Coscarelli did mention that he is interested in a Phantasm video game and for game developers to contact him, so we phans went all in tweeting at them to get together.

This just appears to be a list of super obscure properties who'd want to be in DbD for the attention.

The problem is we already have a Clown. We don't need two clowns, no matter how different he is. While yes, Billy and Leatherface are similar, the reason for that is because they wanted Leatherface but couldn't get the license at first, so they made Billy. Then later they got the license for Leatherface. Had they gotten the license for Leatherface in the first place, they'd never have made Billy. Today, I just don't see them doing another clown especially not for a movie as violent as that one is.

I'm aware of that one, i intentionally left it out as it was more ''I'm open for a Phantasm video game'' than a ''i wanna see Phantasm in dbd'' type of post.

I still say they need to get Chucky from the 'Child's Play' films. I'm not going to stop saying it, either. :)

I wouldn't mind. Bhvr is going to run out of big name licenses eventually. About time they get interested in acquiring obscure and modern horror licenses. Granted I don't care for bindy.

Well I don't think Annabelle is really the same concept. Like she and Chucky are both haunted dolls, but that's pretty much where similarities end. M3GAN and Chucky are more similar though, I agree with that part.

Cute, but the only one that I think would happen is Art, from Terrifier.
The others...I love Cry of Fear to pieces, but I don't think it's known enough - and the other two even I've never heard of.
Chucky, Candyman and probably the Xenomorph are all but inevitable though.

Out of all of these I've only heard of Bendy, who wouldn't really 'fit' in DBD. The others, well I guess they're just not well-known enough franchises.

It's not, i wanted the list to include as many as possible, the ones listed here were the ones i was able to find and what people have posted in the comments.

The thing is, the niche licenses would have to bring in more than original characters (excluding associated costs with said licenses) and enough to keep the game profitable.

Because they're cool and this game being a dedicated horror hall of Fame doesn't mean they should only care about the big name blockbusters. My Bloody valentine, Pumpkin head, etc deserve their name in the hall too.

that's why ip's that are obscure shouldn't take as much in terms of royalties 🤷🏻♂️ more money for behavior as a way to keep the game afloat and more exposure for unknown horror lightweights.
If it were me and I had a small name horror icon no one has ever heard of I'd be begging to have it featured in something as a publicity stunt.

I support that. I myself will never stop saying that we need a Bioshock chapter with an awesome Big Daddy brawler as the killer, a broken down Rapture as the map and Elizabeth as the survivor. One of her perks would be "Dimensional Fiddling" with which she could re-roll a tile via her psychic ability. I so want this :V

I mean, as long as it was not able to be done often, like maybe once or twice per match, or maybe she has to unhook another survivor to get a charge and can only have one? I think they could make it work as long as she has to earn it.

Terrifier should absolutely be in this game, and BHVR should jump on the license now. If/when Terrifier 3 comes out down the road, it's going to be pretty huge.
Art the Clown is a great killer, Sienna's angel cosplay outfit would sell dump trucks worth of auric cells, and the black skeleton skirt from the first movie would also be a big deal as a skin.
Even the Terrifier chase music is awesome.
This game could do so much more when it comes to licenses. Imagine a map based on the hotel from the Shining. The Bates Motel and the house from Psycho.
Imagine Grace from Ready or Not, Trash from Return of the Living Dead, or as mentioned above ELVIRA as a survivor!
Horror films and shows have gotten extremely popular in the last 5 years. This game should capitalize on it more.
