BHVR vs Haddie Kaur
Dear BHVR, could we please get an official statement on why you are refusing to make new cosmetics for Haddie Kaur?
She hasn't got a single cosmetic in 7 months, obligatory ugly sweater aside (correct me if I'm wrong). Could you please explain to us players the reasoning behind that? I would really appreciate it. She is not a licensed character, so her not getting any love from you is beyond baffling. She is an amazing character, with a very deep, interesting lore. She is also potentially a great representative of the Indian culture and Indian people. One of the most significant characters in DBD, and you just keep ignoring her. As if you and her had a nasty fight and had to part ways.
This month, Feng got 4 outfits (prime, store and 2 rift ones). 4 outfits. Kate got her 2nd St. Patrick's Day outfit (both last year and this year it was in the rift). Haddie hasn't got anything in 7 months. Plus, you deprived her of her 2 outfits that should have been in the store upon her release.
I can only hope you are about to drop some cosmetic for her next month. I really don't get your behaviour towards her. Why would you abandon a character you created? And why would you create a character whom you would eventually abandon?

Because she is ugly and only releveant because of Dredge.

More like the playerbase abandoned her because I don't see Haddie at all.

I mean they aren't exactly wrong. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so what do I know?

It's pretty awful to release a character that's not traditionally attractive and then absolutely neglect her.

They always choose whom to release: what their characters are gonna look like, what their voice is gonna sound like, which default and beginning store cosmetics they'll have, what will be in their backstory, etc.
I like Haddie quite a lot. She looks really good in her diving costume. It shows that she'd really go well with various cosmetics.... she just needs to receive them...

How terrible for you and the other 4 haddie mains out there.

Go back to when she was released and read posts on here and social media. Everything was negative. People commenting on her looks and her weight... it was actually ridiculous. I wouldn't be surprised if BHVR thought 'okay well, the community doesn't like her so we'll focus more on survivors they do like'. Even now, topics regarding Haddie not having cosmetics only seem to pop up whenever Feng gets a new outfit. People need to start requesting Haddie cosmetics all the time, not just when trying to make an argument against Feng's latest fashion.

I understand but, a lot of people share Haddie's body size / appearance. A lot of DBD players included. Why wouldn't BHVR give her love and show people who look/feel like her that they are worthy and supported? I mean, the self-worth is something that needs to be addressed internally by each individual, but this would certainly reach out to a lot of people struggling. BHVR rejecting Haddie for her appearance and what others think of her is like rejecting all players that look like her. I really hope that's not the case.

Why would they bother making cosmetics for a Survivor that nobody plays? Might as well ask "hey where are all the Twins cosmetics?"

She has the worst perks so no wonder. A lot of people take a chapter just because of the dirt and the survivor there is just rubbish. If the survivors were distinguished by built-in passives, then maybe there would be people, otherwise the survivors are garbage skins.

Haddie who?
I mean it doesn't really make much sense from a business perspective to keep making cosmetics for a character that no one plays. I can't recall the last time I saw Haddie in game other than a couple times when her chapter came out. I have 0 interest in this character, so why would I spend money on her let alone buy her?
If you look at some of the most well received video game characters, particularly female ones, you'll see the kind of beauty most beholders are attracted to. Characters looking cool, beautiful or a combination of both is always a great selling point.

Its like this: spend 60h designing a fun or nice Haddie outfit. 30 peeps buy it, feels like a waste of time, but whatever, it was the right thing to do.
Or maybe spend 50h on designing a couple new Feng outfits half of which can be recolors, a cosplay of another character or variations of older stuff and sell 10s of thousands within the hour of release.
Only one of these is considered a smart business decision. Unless you manage to stir up the mud in the water and conjure a shart storm.
