Remove de pipping please.. It sucks ass to get destroyed and have that added on top. It serves literally no purpose.

It's there to make you feel even more miserable when you lose. At least that feels to be it's only purpose. I think safety pipping should be made lot easier and you should only depip if you AFK, dc or hook suicide early. I got 7 hooks today as killer in game map but all survivors escaped so I depipped and it's just salt to the wounds. I was cheated that game jill was only hooked once so I chased her and she had ds, otr, dh and adrealine and hit me with all of them. I outplayed her 3 times but her second chanses were too much to overcome and she got away.

The difference is that pipping helps you gain BP, while achievements are only to show off

While I would like to see the safety pip requirements lowered a bit, using the bronze rank saftey pip for bronze/silver, and the silver rank safety pip for gold/iridescent, I am a firm believer that the depip should stay.
Currently the only punishment for early hook suicide is a depip.
It does give you something to potentially play for in a match you know you are going to lose.

Are you low on BP? I perma sit on 2 mill because it's such a pain in the ass to spend and you get it so easily. It doesn't matter anymore.

I'm sorry to say this but I doubt anyone who suicide cares about depip, like at all.
If you seriously want to fix that issue just remove suiciding and make DC penalty bigger.

While you may be correct, I am sure there is also a subset of people who play out a crappy match in the hopes of getting a safety pip instead of a depip.

Just because something doesn't matter to you doesn't mean it doesn't matter to other people and shouldn't be addressed. Have some empathy for oth-, oh, wait, you're a Daad By daylight player, empathy is something the majority of this player base lacks and it really shows. Both in game and out.

It's an outdated system, and they should have just removed depipping when they made grades not matter to mmr.

Alright I am going to say something and I am sorry if you take offense, There are actually a few things you can do.
The first, and I'm not saying its easy, is making it harder for the killer to find and down you.
The second, while there is nothing you can do while your being camped, that is the responsibility of your team to help you out. Against all but the hardest face camping bubbas your teammates can at the very least force a trade. If the issue is that your teammates arent willing to do that, then thats kind of on you for choosing to play with bad/random teammates.

Not what I said at all, however it really isnt hard to find a group to play with, if you wanna go that option.
The other way to go is to play a safe style stealth/escape build and get your MMR up to a point where you get better teammates because your having issues with the ones your getting now.
It's the unfortunate reality of the current matchmaking system.

Not really, if a players goal is to pip up and there is no depip penalty, why would they continue to try in a match where they arent gonna pip up. As soon as they get hooked and see teammates not working on gens or see a 2nd person go down before they get unhooked, they are gonna peace out of that match. Hook suicides will go through the roof just like dc's do anytime the penalty is turned off.
Like I said Im all for reducing the safety pip requirements some, and even creating conditions for a mandatory safety pip, but getting rid of them altogether is a terrible idea.
