How important is it for you to 4K? LOL
So I just had a match against a bubba, 2 of my teammates dc'd, one in the beginning of the match and the other one on hook right after. And then this happened:
He slugged me so he could get a 4K. LOL
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it, did you guys ever do it? Or did it ever happen to you? hahaha

Bubba queued up for a game, where he would get only a single kill if he did not pursue both of you after two people DC'd, sabotaging his game too.

I don't care about 4Ks at all. I just want to prove myself a competent player, so getting 8 hooks and 0K is already better than 3 hooks, 1K. I've never slugged for the 4K and I have no plans to ever do that, it's a complete waste of everyone's time for the most marginal quantity of ego points.

I use those tactics and I don't care at all about getting a 4K. I care about playing to the best of my ability and trying for a 4K which means that I make full use of my range of options as a killer to gain and keep advantage. Anything less is me disrespecting my opponents as that is me saying you are not good enough to display my full capabilities to. It would literally be me taking pity on you over a videogame, I would be insulted to the max if someone did that to me.

I couldn't care less. If the last person gets hatch then good for them. A 3k is a win.

I care more about BPs and pipping than getting kills and escaping. Last person will always get hatch or door, doesn't matter to me.

So you're saying we should thank you for slugging us for a 4k, cause it's better that way than if we'd get hatch, cause if we got hatch it's because you didn't do your best and we deserve your best? 😧

Whatever is fastest after the game is effectively over.
But if someone wants to slug for the 4k, that's fine. Just as that last/last two survivor(s) is wasting the killers time, slugging for the 4k is the same thing.

Mood plays a bigger part of this game then people like to admit
Say that Bubba had 4-5 matches of all 4 Survivors escaping and T-Bagging (also end game messages) then got put into your match... How would you play it???

Saddest thing is, without slugging, or playing like, your life depend of your score... You can have 4K
When I see i'm gonna just crush the survivor, i'm just going to kill the boring one, and let finish the other, and I got my 100k bloodpoint even with that... But, for some reason, some killer have to prove something, dunno what, I'm not concerned with this kind of behavior

I personally as a killer main won't slug for a 4k. I consider a 3k a win. I also will give the last survivor the hatch / door if they don't struggle.
If I am the last survivor, I never struggle. Sometimes I get the hook sometimes they let me go.
Remember just win and lose with dignity.

I was just saying this in another thread: some people bring frustrations from one match to another, and some bring it even to real life.
As for the "how would you play it???" I definitely don't do it, especially as killer, my killer playstyle doesn't revolve around what survivors do to me. But to each their own.

lol, I used to not struggle, then a huntress once walked the whole map with me on her shoulder to find hatch, when she found it, she dropped me close to it and let me crawl a bit, when I got real close she closed the hatch, picked me back up and hooked me. LOL
Never again I did not not struggle. hahahaha
And I consider even a 2k a win depending on if it was a sweaty match.
Imagine being destroyed in a few minutes and losing every chase and still get a 2k? It's a win for me. lol

Unless I have a challenge that somehow requires it (rare) I really don't care. (Like I can only think of something like "kill the obsession" and they happen to be the last one alive, and even then I probably wouldn't put myself in that position to begin with, not intentionally at least)
Give me that 50/50 for the hatch, and if the survivor gets it, fair play.

Why's escaping so important to survivors?
Quite hypocritical to demand them not to go for their goal ( kill all survivors) when you're trying to do yours (escape). Just do some gens, maybe loopdaloop for some time, and then stop trying to escape. Afterall it's just fair if all involved players just dont go for the win.
Tl:dr dont shame killers into playing hoe you want.

I don't care about 4ks anymore. If you try and sweat 4ks it's pretty easy if you run broken perks and play dirty by tunneling out weak players and facecamping good ones and eventually your mmr will put you up against nothing but sweaty 4 stack swfs.
Literally the only time I go for 4ks now are when I'm going for an adept or if the surv team is particularly toxic. Aside from that I actively avoid them and pick one or two survivors each game to spare. Just get everyone on 2 hooks and then kill 2. Let the other 2 do gens and farm a little.

Yes, people slug to get 4ks. It's their objective to kill you, doesn't matter how they do it. They just need to kill you. Instead of crying about how someone plays in an online video game, I suggest moving on.

I would have done the same thing, with the only exception being maybe if I was already at Iridescent 1 on killer, the killer is the one who got screwed over in this match.
When trying to pip up as killer the devout emblem is the one emblem you can actually track easily during the match the other 3 you can make assumptions but cant track reliably.
Looking at it from that point the 2 dc's count as kills worth 4 points towards the emblem which is good for silver getting the last 2 makes it up to 8 which gets a gold emblem, and iridescent is impossible because there is no way for them to get 9 hooks and hook everyone once.
Plus with 5 gens remaining if they keep the match going for a full 5 minutes they can get iridescent gatekeeper. Depending on the other 2 emblems the killer may still be able to turn that into a pip depending on their current rank.
