Nurse's new music
Does anyone else have an issue with Nurse's new chase music? When in chase the new music has this... hissing sound, maybe they were going for a smoke effect or something? But it is so loud. I can't hear any of the game sounds over it and it gives me a headache after one match.
edit: sorry for the initial post just saying nurse, i fat fingered the apostrophe

I disagree

lol, i know you posted this when all it said was "nurse", but i have to agree with you. Couldn't find a way to delete the thread and was hoping to update before anyone clicked on it.

It's way too loud. I played her today and I was done after one trial.
Maybe they want to mask sounds for her, but I'm not going to go deaf for that.
If they don't want her to track by sound, then muffle them, but don't shot music at volume of a nuke going off right into my eardrums.

BHVR needs to remember, people wear headsets when playing.

I literally can not hear other noises when playing her now. Its ass, and the devs are braindead for making it that way

Like, I can get behind the nerf nurse sentiment, but punishing the player for using her outright? That's some next level thinking devs. My hats off to you.

It's extremely loud and needs toned down.

Ideally, they would add volume controls for in-game music. I'd turn it right down and listen to my own music.

Its actually unacceptable, and the devs trying to balance her power by literally annoying players who play the character with her chase music is a ######### ######### move.
3 -
Devs would never add an option to completely turn off chase music though.

I couldn't hear her channel for the life of me and just assumed they changed her sfx which is dirty but this is prob it- and just as dirty. cant hear her tells at all

They learned nothing from the Ghostface debacle, did they?
Sigh.
BHVR, when people say "they don't play their game," it's because of this kind of stuff. Anyone who got in a chase as nurse for more than five seconds knows it's awful, so the only logical conclusion is that you never actually tested this yourselves in the game.
It's miserable.

Nurses new chase music literally has me contemplating if I even want to buy this rift, next chapter, or just be done with DBD. They intentionally made it so loud and jarring to lower the skill ceiling of her baekit, as nerf. It is a lazy dogshit way to balance a killers power, and a slap in the face to the players of this community. I may not like some of the perks being needlessly being nerfed, but limiting a core function of the game because they can't be ######### to balance a killer properly, and making her just annoying to play is unacceptable.
Imagine the outrage this community would have if they made generator noises so loud for survivors that it completely drowned out the killer heartbeat. Having to resort to muting the actual game to be able to play a killer because the chase music is so needlessly loud and jarring is a ######### move.

No kidding. The sacrifice SFX already kind of does that, and that sucks enough.
Can't wait for them to alter the Spirit phase walk SFX so she can't hear anything, either.

hopefully this gets adjusted. It’s super rough. I just watched someone play her and it was awful the whole time and loud

Way too loud, I haven't been playing Nurse for a while mostly survivor cause the music is way too loud.

It's a bit loud but otherwise I honestly like it. Would be nice if they toned it down a bit.

I find it to be obnoxiously loud. I get what they were going for, trying to make it extremely intense for an extremely deadly killer but I haaaaaate it.

She is the strongest killer in the game, she should have extremely loud music, so finally balanced.

It's way too loud and also a bit unfitting.

seriously. they need to add a volume slider for chase music already because you know its bad when i cant even hear nurse charging a blink while shes chasing me
