Killswitch Sloppy or the Mangled effect?
It affects mending, snapping out, recovering and sometimes even exit gates. I think it is a known issue, but why not use that fancy killswitch button? 20% slowdown for free seems broken? People abusing it using Mending add ons on Legion, Knockout and Sloppy. Did this killswitch button turn fully cosmetic now? "Abuse it while you can, Killer Mains" (boon patchnote reference) seems like a good phrase to use here.

Sloppy affecting the speed at which you open gates seem very unintended, indeed.

The new update broke so many things. Like today my friend suddenly got adrenaline heal even though the killer was using terminus, and I just had my first run-in with bugged lullaby. I don't know how all these different things broke. So many things would need to be kill switched lol.

Haven´t seen it affecting exit gates yet. As it says sometimes. If so, then it should be reported as bug. But the rest on the list seems to be pretty intentional.

Snapping Out Of It + Mending are both not healing actions. Snapping was specifically removed from being a healing action a while back, thus preventing Botany Knowledge from affecting it. As it isn't a healing action, Mangled shouldn't slow it down.
Likewise with opening a chest. Absolutely not a healing action.
Though, since it isn't gamebreaking (think COH literally crashing games, and Badham having missing walls being abusable but not kill switched), I think it's bugged but not worthy of the kill switch going on precedent.

i've gone against a hacker w sloppy on, that's all i've seen of sloppy this patch. guess i'm lucky. although the bugged slug recovery speed was super unfun

Yeah that sounds like a bug. But kill switches are more for really gamebreaking stuff.

Yeah I was curious because whenever I got hit with sloppy my recovery speed in the dying state was slowed I guess thats not intended

Kill switch has a higher requirement than not working properly. For example, the effect would have to stack to the point healing takes 5+ minutes to complete.

They didn't kill switch maps anytime they've had uncleansable totems that made it so killer never lost their hex like Devour Hope. They didn't kill switch Oni when he was getting way more blood orbs than he was supposed to. They're not going to kill switch Sloppy or Mangled effect.

From what do you deduce they're prettily intentional, since either Sloppy's and Mangled descriptions refer only to healing actions, which none on that list is?

Then shouldn’t botany knowledge and COH increase both mending and recovery speed? Those both increases healing speed

If you want proof that mending isn’t healing, try mending a teammate while you have Endurance. You actually won’t lose it.

The recovery speed is just a visual bug. It doesn't actually slow you down. If you time it with and without sloppy its the same speed. It will just show a red bar that makes it "look" like it's slower.

I don't think Sloppy can be killswitched if the problem is Mangled. Do you just go through and turn off everything related to that effect? That'd be very overly broad (for something where the problem is more 'annoying' than 'unplayable')

Nope, back in the day the Killswitch did not exist and it would have been more complicated to deactivate it.
Wake-Up was killswitched when it caused Killers to crash.

Should it be killswitched? Yes, it's a perk that isn't functioning correctly.
Will it be? I doubt it.

It probably doesn't help with the confusion that healing and mending have the same icon in the new survivor action HUD.

It's Mangled in general. The Legion has an addon that applies the mangled effect, and that does it. However, it seems above someone said its not actually slowed down, just a visual bug with the recovery bar.

OP its a given already that the Devs only kill switch survivor perks. They let killers run rampant free without worry, just look at Eruption everyone in the community along with streamer killer mains that the perk needs a nerf but here we are.
and before some white knight makes a fool out of himself i do know the nerf to eruption (better late than ever i guess) but either way it shouldve been kill switched or changed sooner not after half of solo queue survivors quit

It sounds like a hard thing to balance tbh. Imagine we’ll make it with unbreakable making hook trading insanely useful as it means the killer has to pick you up instead of slugging
That and coulophobia would become an absolutely ridiculous slugging perk

It's not just a single perk, its the entire status effect. You'd have to killswitch half a dozen perks and probably a dozen killer addons at this point.

They kill switched Nurse and Clown for weeks and they took 5 years to rework Dead Hard.

Does Eruption need a nerf? Yes.
Does Eruption cause a game-breaking bug? No.
Like it or not (and to be clear, I don't use Eruption, so I don't have a horse in this race) Eruption isn't broken in the way they reserve the kill switch for.
The kill switch is for game-breaking bugs. If it were really like you claim it is, they would have kill switched Boil Over for a few months before they nerfed it. But they didn't, we killers had to deal with the pain of old Boil Over for months.

It is affecting things unrelated to healing
Not sure what the full list is but it's affecting recovery and snapping out of it so far
