No Mither rework idea
We all know no mither is terrible and no amount of buffs to it now will ever warrent it to be taken. I genuinely think it needs a rework. So I have an idea of how to rework it.
You make the perfect distraction and your inspiring sacrifice to your own safety males you braver.
No Mither actives when you are the obsession. When active you gain the following effects
- At the start of the trial you and the killer see the killers aura for 6 seconds.
- You gain a 1/2/3% increase to movement Speed for the remainder of the trial
- You are able to pick yourself up from the dying state
- You leave no pools of blood
- You permanently suffer from the incapacitated status effect
No mither deactivates if you are not the obsession.
Increase the odds of becoming the obsession
I think this rework makes the perk way better then what we have now. I was thinking that the perk would give you insane benefits at the cost of not being able to progress the game. The point of the perk is to take the killers attention.
What do you think is this rework good or not.

Incapacitation? So you can't interact with anything in the trial? That seems kind of insane.
Tbh I'd like to see them totally remove grunts of pain from the current no mither, including while downed for a better chance to self res maybe give it a faster crawl speed. Then it might be kinda useful. Adding the speed boost in chase is a nice idea. Make it more effective in chases and not a death sentence. Maybe add a 50% BP bonus for everything since it's a risky perk.

The perk should only playable on 4 team SWF.
Because using it throws away the game, the rework would make it even worse auto lose

I swear BHVR once said said that they do not intend to ever buff the perk, and are happy keeping it as a "hard mode" thing.

It doesn't need a rework, BHVR has said they're happy with it being a 'hard mode' perk, a self-imposed challenge that someone can bring if they want.
It's a shame it can negatively impact their teammates but there's nothing stopping a survivor bringing 0 perks and sitting in a locker all game anyway so...

If the killer realizes a survivor has No Mither they could just ignore them and play a very easy 3v1

There are 116 perks to choose 4 from. What is wrong with having a challenge perk?
Why are we always focused on No Mither? Are the other 115 perks perfectly fine? I swear survivors just want an unlimited unbreakable with no downsides.

There is nothing wrong with a challenge perk but no mither challenge is terrible and does more harm then good imo. I think there are better ways to make a challenge perk. Like current object of obsession

Why would it? Maybe when it came out or new players. But the way the game is played now survivors don't care if the killer knows where they are. They want to be chased while the other three pound gens.

i am pretty sure no mither is meant to be unlimited unbreakable with downsides. problem is that specific downside they choose makes the perk irrelevant. I think they want to put unlimited unbreakable base-kit though so you will not need to use no mither.

yea i remember them saying that as well, i just wished they made it only active once you've been injured so the killer doesn't just hard tunnel you off the bat
