Key Rework/Buff
Based on another thread on this forum, I came up with an idea for a rework/buff to keys:
-As well as opening the hatch, keys can additionally be used to unlock chests (and maybe the exit gate) at a faster rate
-Keys are no longer consumed by opening hatch/chests/gates. Instead, opening these props consumes charges from the key in the same way aura reading does, the number of charges required equals the number of seconds the action normally takes (just like every other item). The Milky Glass addon is reworked to cause the key to consume less charges while performing unlocking actions.
-Different keys have different speed modifiers while performing unlocking actions
I was initially going to propose specific numbers but I'm not going to pretend to be smart enough to know what the best numbers are for this idea.

Honestly, it kind of baffles me how rare keys are. The ability to completely shut down mindgames is great, and prayer beads are a common addon so you can get good uptime out of a broken key. You just have to use it wisely, aka actually in opportunities where you might be getting mindgamed.
I dunno if they ever nerf medkits again that might make keys more popular

Keys are very underused and can actually bring a lot of value to the table which baffles me as to why they are rare.
I like the idea of reworking keys because maybe we’ll see more use out of them.

Keys might be worthwhile if you are new to game or if they removed channel time. Right now, they do NOT provide any worth-while value. I would gladly trade brown toolbox for skeleton key with any addon combination. I tried keys. They are really not underused.

Clearly it's all these young windows-usin' whippersnappers who just prethrow and run to to the next pallet without looping smh

when the breakable door was first added tbh I thought survivors could interact with it using a key to open it but at the end it was just a wall

I completely agree that the keys need to be changed, they should provide significant utility than now
