Piggies boxes
Now, I don't go against piggie that often and a majority of piggies seems to enjoy the hard tunneling (which makes me wonder why they put the hat on you in the first place then... but ... that's beside the point) - but in nearly every match that played out normally - aka in which someone got a hat, got hooked, then got unhooked and went to do their boxes - at least one person died to not being able to make the 4th box despite beelining.
Anyone else having that experience?
[I know, Piggie is not exactly the strongest killer - but that kind of mechanic still seems... like the absolutely wrong way to prevent killrates from absolutely nosediving...? ]

If you beeline it from box to box you will not die. That’s just fact. So if someone is dying they were not beelining it, wasting time, or the killer had some interaction with them to slow them down from removing it.

"That's just fact" ... but it isn't. It happened several times now, sometimes to me (and I'm pretty certain I run the absolute shortest route) and sometimes to others who I know well enough to know that they beeline it as well. That's the whole point of making this thread.

But for real, why does she need to see the aura?
Its so easy to find a survivor with a trap on and tunnel them out

Same reason why Killers see the Aura of Gens so they know where those are at. If you want to go by game lore the boxes are part of the power given to her so The Entity allows Ms Piggy to see where her boxes are at

I’ve got over 9,000 hours of experience. Rewatch your games where you die, you aren’t beelining it. You had to have something slow you down whether that’s related to you or the killer, something. It’s literally impossible not to make the timer with zero slow downs and just walking box to box. That’s being very lenient too, you can realistically still waste quite a bit of time and still make it.

Some players just play the Pig like every other Killer
Others don't like the RBT's and don't want to have them be taken off so easily
While a few know what they are doing... even though they too don't like Survivors taking off the RBT's easily

She can output pressure that way, if she leaves you to get the mask off, how is she any different from a meme m1 killer with some slowdown perks?

the "nerf pig" stuff is actually really funny when you realize that all of her nerfs but one were to kill cringe strats like afk on a box, holding your hats till end game, and random standardization changes like making her tr 32m instead of 28m

They might be thinking of games with addons to make searching the box take longer.
With those, it's possible I think to not have time to make it to the last box, but I'll trust your opinion on it.

That could potentially be a factor they aren’t realizing as the addons can add a lot. That said, even with the best head pop addons it’s still impossible to die going straight box to box with zero interruptions. It’s much tighter for sure, but it is not happening without something additional being at play. Even this is also assuming the hat is active for the entire time as well.

Usually the case yeah. The timer is actually quite lenient. Even assuming the box is already active from the start so you had no chances to remove before it was active there is actually a lot of time. First they have to be one of the unlucky ones that required more boxes, then they’d have to have head pop addons running and even then it still needs quite a few interrupts from the killer.

It also depends on the map setting plus those interactions along with trap rng. It's rare that head pops happen but if the setting is right at least 1 can happen

Pig knows where the boxes are because she's the one who set them up.
