Aim Assist Messing Up With Hits

I think that we all, killer mains, know about the aim assist that BHVR provided for us to help us with hits. But no one can deny that it doesn't always helps us, in fact the aim assist sometimes makes you hit a wall next to a survivor you could actually hit if the aim assist didn't make you hit the wall. I think this feature needs to be something you can enable or disable as you wish, or else I'd hope that BHVR takes this feature off DBD or at least for Mouse and Keyboard users.

What, there is an aim assist? I never noticed so I can't blame my misses on that. Are they doing AB testing with a new Aim Assist feature or something??

    It's always been there

Have you never had your aim jerked by the game?

lol. so the bug is back? i hate this feature. made me do an almost 360 spin because of some "tech" a survivor used on me.

the devs have said for years that there's no aim assist. there is. it's in the menus for console. and the tracking mechanic carries over into multiplayer.

whether that's intentional or not idk, but it pulls the camera when you do a long lunge and the survivor is near the edge of the screen.

Sometimes it doesn't even make you hit a wall, the aim assist just assumes that the hit connected and short swings (while your still pressing M1), so it makes you miss the survivor.

To be fair, it's not meant to help you get hits, it's just meant to make the hits you get look a little cleaner. It's not really aim assist, I think the term they use is "aim dressing" and that pretty much conveys it.

That being said, yeah, it's definitely messed up hits before, I'd love to see a test done where it's disabled.

Every other game there are a couple of survivors who mess up with this aim dressing (assist, auto aim) or whatever. They spin so fast that the moment you atk they got an invincibility and you miss like it was a previous version of dead hard. Like I am close and its 100 percent a "hit".

You got the schematics wrong. There is no aim assist. But there is aim dressing, that can yank the killer’s camera, and steal hits.
