Implement a period of immunity to getting Blinded after being blinded

Had a toxic SWF that kept chain blinding me before I even had a chance to react, blinding me before each blind ended because they all had flashlights and swarmed me no matter which way I turned. They were definitely a SWF with how they were swarming me and chaining the blinds, not to mention there were two Adas and two Mikeleas and they were all wearing the same outfits per character.

There needs to be like a 10 second period after getting blinded after the blind wears where the Killer is immune to getting blinded again specifically to combat this sort of toxic behavior from toxic SWFs.

"Why didn't you run Lightborn?" you might ask? Because when I hit ready, none of them had flashlights! They were either toxic and pulled last second switches or they were all running Residual Manifest to get flashlights once in the match; I didn't check their perks because I was too enraged to look and stick around.

this makes sense, i'd love to see it, or at least get rid of chain blinds

Push your mouse forward away from you.

Or push your controller stick forward.

Now you have infinite immunity against blinds.

How about no? A 10 second immunity is too long. Also if they are swarming around you with flashlights that means they are doing no gens. If they get downed in the open simply slug them and slug them as well until you are safe to pick them up. And have you ever done the magical trick of looking up? I heard it works wonders.

How about providing 100% immunity for killer to tunnel if you want to take one of the last things that actually can help against it? Chain blinds are requirement if I want to give at least some time for tunneled guy to actually disappear.

Also if you look up, or look down (depending on situation/your position/flashbang/...), there's no way to chain blind you once outside animation. Try it yourself.

Also try watching some better streamers - people chain blind in soloQ just as much in SWF once you reach certain skill barrier (I am not saying you 100% played against soloQ, just that from certain point - which is not your case because you would know to look up - it's just as likely).

Last point - what is actually toxic in chain blinds? Buying myself some extra seconds of time to survive longer? This is so absurd. It's like me saying killer should not even try to hit me for 10s after hitting me once and all exposed perks/abilities are SUPER TOXIC...

so... chaining blinds is pretty dumb. no matter how you look at it - chaining stuns doesn't work so why should blinds?

gotta side with the plaintiff on this one. i believe i used that word correctly. idk.

anyway - 10 second immunity is too long. 2 seconds is a lot. that would give enough time for the killer to see something and be able to redirect vision. the main issue is the super bright instant blind flashlight that can back to back blind without needing 2 people. the screen never stops being orange.

Then I am sorry for your bad luck. In my games it's purely to save time or to actually force killer that tunnels someone to go for somebody else (in this case person with flashlight)

Last second switching needs to go

  • Look down at an angle, then follow their flashlight and smash the punks. Get into the habit. As soon as a flashy troll shines their crutch, look down (no need to look directly down) then give em a kiss with your weapon. They usually stand there like goofballs trying to figure out why they aren't blinding you and leave themselves open for attack.

Lightborn becomes redundant once you master this.

Sure. But killer should not see what survivors bring. Or show us also killer's stuff.
