Scourge Hooks, better spawn placements?
In an ideal game, your Scourge Hooks are evenly distributed around the map making them accessible for you to use. Maybe not always accessible, sometimes the downed Survivor is just out of reach of one or another Survivor is currently on that hook. Regardless of those two instances, which is sometimes inevitable, you still have the chance to use your Scourge's many times throughout the match. That's the ideal game, which doesn't happen all that often unfortunately. RNG plays a huge factor in where the Scourge's end up, and a lot of times RNG completely screws the killer over. Maybe one hook spawned on one side of the map, and the other three ended up on the other right next to one another. Or all four spawned in one area of the map and 90% of the time your downs are on the opposite side. Needless to say, RNG can either really bless you with some fantastic spawns or just making the perk(s) almost pointless to equip with how little you get use out of them. Will we ever see an update to make Scourge's almost not be completely RNG reliant when it comes to where they spawn? I think a little RNG is fine but I don't think the entire Scourge Hook system shouldn't be 100% reliant on it.

I really look forward to buffing a perk like Hangman's trick so that Scourge hooks change their position after being hung

I think the RNG is fair, but some maps like swamp are problematic and can really destroy you. Any of those maps where there's a ton of corner hooks.

i think basement hooks should always be scourge hooks. and then you just play a basement build. 🤷🏻♂️
monstrous shrine is the perfect scourge hook example imo.

They should just randomize your scourge hooks every time you get a hook
This ensures you won't get completly or near useless scourge hooks and also makes camping survivors on scourge less effective since you wont get pain res on trades every time.

scourge swapping sounds like bad idea. It diminishes tactical point - both survivors and killers planning around scourge hooks. I don't like this idea one bit (at least as a default behavior). Any other suggestion in this thread sounds more reasonable to me

All they need to do is code it in a way where a certain distance from each other, or split the map into quadrants and guarantee 1 in each qua This would ensure you don't get totally screwed by RNG. Lost count how many times all my SH are on 1 side of a map. Brutal, especially on maps like RPD and Mother dwelling.
