I created new survivor perk for anti-tunnelling
After being unhooked or escaped the hook, activate the perk for 50/60/70 seconds.
While the perk is active, when grabbed by the killer, causes all hooks within 15 meters radius of you will immediately get broken and the killer receive the hindered and blindness status effect for 4 seconds.
You see the auras of all broken hooks while the perk has activated
The perk is deactivated when preforming some interactions such as healing, repairing, blessing, cleansing and sabotaging.
The perk is permanently deactivated once it has successfully triggered after being grabbed, or will instantly deactivate and no longer remain active once the exit gates are powered.
Once the perk triggers and successfully escaping the killer's grasp, results you to become the killer's obsession.
Increase the chance to become the killer's obsession.
The killer can only be obsessed with one survivor at a time.

No. Someone gets unhooked, they got healed or go do gen and after 30 sec Killer comes to them and gets the down and now what? New busted DS type of perk? No, thanks.
Besides we allready have some anti-tunnel perks, even base game BT and this perk is easy to abuse by SWF groups or just punish non tunneling killers. If Billy instadowns you after 1 min since you allready was unhooked, is it fair to get this effect? No.

I'm just posting new perk ideas because the new killer and survivors in the ptb has the worst perks ever.
So does that mean that the devs are running out of perks idea?

I mean if Billy instadown you will not affect the hooks because the survivor is not picked up yet, so the killer might leave then behind until the perk timer has expired. That's why I'm telling you all it should be a balanced perk btw

It's better but I think Its still probably too strong. Remove the hindred and blidness and maybe reduce the hook sabotage distance to like 12 meters and then maybe it could be okay.

Residual Manifest is bad enough, we don't need more perks that start giving Killers status ailments.

"hooks broken" as in permanently broken or the 3 minute respawn broken?
Because braking hooks in a 15 meter radius times 4 can be absolutely broken potentially making half the map into hook dead zones. Especially looking at maps like rpd, the game or midwich.

we just need DS to be what it was... 5 seconds stun in fact 6, so survivors have 5 seconds to escape... thats it. killers feared DS like it was rason why they used to slug survivors wich ofc helped with UB.

That would do literally nothing but slightly increase time from pick-up to hook. A perk like this requires a hookstate to activate and requires killer compliance, it needs an actually impactful effect.

You can shorten the description by saying it deactivates on a conspicous action.
The perk is fair. Still, it has the same fundamental issue of being a band-aid.
I'll stick to maining killer.

The hooks respone back as usual but I mean the perk permanently deactivates and will no longer trigger again as soon as it has successfully triggered once

I agree because the normal escaping killer grasp stun duration is more than DS stun duration.I mean if it's not fair enough then at least add 4.5 sec or 4 sec.
I believe it should be balanced like that or otherwise it's kinda useless perk with this short time because you cannot quickly take a distance from the killer when try to take a pallet or a window especially the killers with the most speed like nurse, blight, wasker and other ones
That's why I'm telling the normal killer grasp escaping stun is better than DS stun. Is it right?

its not. becasue the survivor doesnt get 6 seconds to escape, gets 5... 1 seconds is wated just by using it and getting to the ground

The biggest issue with "perk to counter x" is that not everyone is going to use that perk. People said reassurance would kill camping and I knew it wouldn't because that thought relied on the idea every survivor would be equipping it and it would have a 100% use rate. It did not.
Also we already have a perk that protects you for a long time after being unhooked. Off the Record. Which honestly seems far better than this. Killers would just slug you for 4 minutes in a situation where you have made the hooks unusable and made it impossible for them to hook you. They'd also camp even harder to ensure you have no way to use this perk, since if you are never unhooked, then you can't ever set this off. Even if basekit UB gets in, that won't stop the killer standing over your body and pressing M1 if you get up. So this would just result in increased camping and slugging

That was before BHVR took the sledgehammer to it and changed it from a 40 second CD to, effectively, 'once per trial'.
The change caused it to require perfect coordination to be used against campers, making it unusable for solo queue, which needed it most.

You want killers to quit the game? That's the perk to make to do it.
Killer Tunneling happens because survivors tunnel gens. The killer has to catch up by tunneling a survivor out of the game. Remove tunneling from both sides. Limit the loss of generators to one in the first chase. Through either base kit deadlock or base kit corrupt intervention.

That.. would make it useless then
There's no point of even adding it if it isn't going to do much, 12 meters is nothing they can just go to next hook because they can see them
At least the Blindness helped this
