VERY SERIOUS discussion, how much would the perks balance change if the nurse was gone?
We all know many perks are good on specific killers and bad on others but some perks seems to have specific limitations fearing they would be TOO strong on specific killer aka the nurse.
How would the perks be affected if the nurse was gone from the game? would most of them get big buffs? different effects? is the perk balance actually influenced by the nurse's existence in your opinion?

On paper, yes. Probably a lot of killers would receive buffs and perks would be buffed.
but I’m theory how would you buff other killers? Killers that have no anti-loops will always be worst than killers with anti loops. So the cycle could just keep going

Like what? They literally took every single perk away from nurse that requires an M1. What perk are you talking about now?

I guess improve their main strength to even out the killer tiers since the nurse is a tier out of her own

it's true they did that, that's a very good point.

I’m not trying to be an ass, but I really cannot think of any other perks that are limited because of nurse.

I understand where BHVR is coming from when they say, that they want perks to be behaving consistantly over the entire roster etc. BUT I think that the game would be in a way better state, if they introduced certain conditions on perks, like "when used by the Nurse, Awakened Awareness doesn't work with Lethal Persuer" etc.
It would open so much design space and they could introduce perks that really upped Trappers game, without making Nurse extremely oppresive in the same move. But because perks have to work the same for everyone involved, we will only ever have perks that are awesome on Nurse and meh on Trapper, because he cant fascilitate their power. Oh well. Poor boi.

it would let perks be powerful without making them busted when combined with other perks, this mechanic already exist with monitor and shadowborn for exemple, if more perks were like this, we could have more powerful perks.

The nurse's teleported attack became an M2.
This means they can buff Sloppy Butcher, Franklin, K.O., Jolt, and all Exposed perks on the other killers, with no advantage to the nurse.
And as a reverse corollary, they could possibly (if it was possible) if they wanted to buff only one killer, and not the others, create a specific type of attack for THIS killer, which would allow them to buff THIS killer, independently of the others (which would allow them to buff the weaker killers, without affecting the other killers, who are more powerful).

What does nurse's existence have to do with the power levels of other killers? Killers are a mutually exclusive element in this game.
Just do it like its happening on survivor side: just buff the bad killer characters without touching the good ones, unlike survivor side there are actual different characters/abilities to tweak without changing the top 3 or any other killer at all.

After her last update, blink attacks being special, recharge and change gone, I don't think she affects perk balance that much.
Most of them aren't problematic on her specifically anymore imho. She can use NTH better than anybody, but survivors should play around that by default by making distance or using lockers. If they're letting her get up close for free then that's the major mistake.

Why do people still want that the devs remove killers? Isn´t more variety better than less variety?
I´m still waiting for the new Nurse stats, because every Nurse i´ve seen since her rework was kinda meh.
Perks having synergy on certain killers shouldn´t hold back the devs. People complained about Thana, because of Legion and now no one uses Thana. People complained about BBQ on Nurse and Blight (one of the most healthy perks for the game btw) and now no one uses it anymore.
So removing a killer in the hope of getting better perks is a terrible idea. Because at the end, people will complain just because they had a bad match.

Remember Awakened Awareness?

Tbh with Thana, they nerfed it in an awful way. Plague and Legion were the problem, so instead of changing it in a way that would be beneficial on other killers and less so on them (for example, 10% for 1 injured, 5% for the next, 3% for the third, 2% for the fourth, for a maximum of 20%) they instead made it useless on everyone except for Plague and Legion, the 2 killers who can consistently get the full 20%.

Since both Legion and Plague apply different status effects than normal killers, a "has only 50% effectiveness on broken and mending survivors" would have done the trick. It would be still beneficial for every killer equally.

They should revert the nerf on that Wesker perk that almost no one uses because it was only good for Starstruck Nurse that doesn't exist anymore.
