Is Blood Warden bugged?

I was playing a late game build for a tome mission (yes i used NOED not the point) but the endgame collapse starts and i hook someone. Blood Warden should have activated and i can see an aura from the exit gate so i go to chase, thinking blood warden was working. less than 60 seconds after i hook the first survivor the second escapes. What the heck is there some problem with the perks i'm using or is this a common bug with Blood Warden. i play on console btw

    You don’t happen to have a clip of that?

    i mean, sure could be a bug, but could also be you misjudging the timing or something. Also hatch escape couldn’t be it?

    its not a hatch escape because i could see their aura in the exit gate. and no i don't unfortunately. but i really don't see how i could be missing the timing on that it didn't seem that long

    Hm, you can open a bug report in the respective forum section of course. Try to be as detailed as possible about the match (killer, other perks, map, etc) - they might be able to recreate it if it’s a bug

    i can just say that a used blood warden recently for that hook 2 survs during EGC in one match challenge and it seemed to work there so it doesn’t seem to be a general bug that’s always happening
