Are non-humanoid killers even remotely possible?
An Idea that is brought up now and then is a giant snake or giant spider killer, and this sounds awesome, it even has a bit of following in the community! But is this even remotely possible? And will BHVR ever consider it or is such an idea to far out of line.

The biggest sticking point would be animations it can't avoid needing to have. Things like window vaults, pickup and hooking animations, stuff like that. It'd also need to be roughly humanoid in shape/size, I think, for similar reasons.
Though, BHVR have been inventive within those limitations before, so I still think it's possible. Hell, we had Demogorgon for a while, and that's definitely more monstrous than the average human.

How about Dredge?

They could always do body horror stuff with it. Like the spider one can have a human look for the legs and lower torso. But spider legs for arms with a monstrous spider face/head. Could have spider legs coming out of its back to dangle the human legs like Nurses while the spider ones actually move the body

Pinhead has unique animations for every action that involve him not using his arms or legs, they could create a non-humanoid killer.
There is a spider in Identity V, a killer that turns into a speedy wheel, and a killer that leaps into the air and can hop over vaults. And its a mobile game.
There is no excuse.

PinHead is a very humanoid character, although his animations look different they are still functionally the same.

Yeah how tf is a giant spider getting through a vault? Maybe that’s just a disadvantage to the killer or it’s only the size of a big dog or something.
I feel like a hooking/carrying animation is pretty simple, a tiger for example could carry a survivor in its mouth and it could use its claws to strike, or a spider carry a survivor by its mouth and use its feet to attack. For a giant snake? That’s tough, headbutt I guess but it’d look kind of dumb.
The main problem I see is the killer being to big to properly move through doorways and other things, this is a big reason that Attack On Titan and Sirenhead was denied by BHVR (Attack On Titan was only skins and Trevor Henderson approached BHVR but was denied).

Idk what other type of non humanoid killers there are, tigers, bears, spiders? I couldn’t imagine it going much further than that
