Franklin's Demise is rly strong perk atm
You can tell that Survivors in general bring way more items, stronger items then before with add-ons. This is probably because of how fast you can earn BP so you can have more items for the same price, etc.
I see so many medkits and good toolboxes very offten. This perk is the only counter to this. Sloppy or any other slowdown healing perk won't stop them from fast medkits or from boosting the repairing speed. I would put this perk to even A tier probably thanks to this meta.

It's definitely strong. I play solo and usually bring a medkit, as I sometimes can't rely on team mates for heals, and if everyone in the group has an item I usually hide my medkit at the start of the game as I expect Franklins. Also when going against Pinhead

I'm starting to see Franklin's more and more as of late, so much so that it's actually becoming quite irritating to deal with because of the Tome having so many "Deplete X amount of Toolboxes/Medkits" tasks/challenges. I get it, survivors using TB's and MK's are annoying to deal with, but blame BHVR for the Tome Missions, rather than the survivors. Please killers I beg you, I want to complete my Tome challenge, I've been stuck on it for three days now. xO

The only reason this perk is decent is the healing meta, killers are bored when 4 survivors bring med kits so game is now unfair. COH is an issue so as a response Franklin's is used

COH doesn't require any items to work. So I don't see Franklin's usage being related to COH.

Killers can’t afford to waste a perk slot on franklins, they’re significantly more perk dependent than survivors. Why run franklins when you can dodge the lobby till it’s a fair match? That’s what i see anyway.

Unless it's medkits, I wouldn't call most items as "unfair" maybe specific toolboxes

And both those exceptions cover like 90% of lobbies.

I don't bother with items more often then not anymore because Franklin's is so popular. Honestly the perk shouldn't exist.

I don't have BtL unlocked on any of my survivors, as I've only been playing for a little under a year.

Wouldn't need to exist if medkits and toolboxes werent as OP.

It’s strong, but it’s a bubba exclusive. So I don’t have it. I have to make due without it.

It's definitely a decent perk, but it wouldn't be used as much if not for the high prevalence of strong medkits and toolboxes.
Personally, I love running it on Wesker with Hoarder just to make people drop spray cans and give away their position when they go back for it or pick up another one. Lots of free information.

* place item in easily accessible location, preferably middle or near middle of map
* Call out location to swf so anyone can grab medkit/toolbox as needed
* Only pick up the item when it is required and then put it down
* Laugh at franklin's users as they cannot do anything about this unless you mess up/get ambushed.

I've done this every time I need to do these empty an item of charges challenges. A very good tip to save a lot of time with these. Even adapted it to when I had to use a No Mither build for a tome challenge with a Commodious Toolbox with speed and charges add ones and Resilience, Built to Last and Streetwise. Stupid really how quickly you can do gens with this, especially when you get on one with someone who has Prove Thyself also. Just feels totally wrong doing it and no wonder killers take Franklin's when they see lobbies of Toolboxes and Med Kits.
