I stop playing dbd for good
i think this is for the better. You give this game attention, time and money but it never makes you happy.
the problems i have with this game are the following
*mmr is worse than call of duty
*cheating and hackers in almost all of my matches (flying, speedhacks, you name it)
*boring meta 3 gen or first survivor tunneled out of game
*tools of torment is possibly one of the worst and most unexciting chapter to release in this game
*bugs reappearing (look up dead dawg saloon bug)
*grind is ridiculous and spending too much time on bloodweb
*most killers and addons are trash
*poor performance on console

See you next week! We always come back

We come back because there is no competitor.
I wish sony or microsoft would make a similar game with the licences.

This is such a neat concept for a game.
I wonder if the state of the community scares off more competent groups from offer a competing a product, or if the monitization model is too complex or contentious.

'We'? Sorry, but I'm not in your group. I'm playing far cry 6 right now with my friend and that game is fun while dbd is not. It stays uninstalled for life.

If you are going to take a break from a game then you need to put it out of your mind completely
All you are doing is focussing on the negativity without allowing yourself to experience the good things this game has to offer too
I will never understand people who do that. It always looks like they are so desperate to validate their reason for leaving.
It is okay to just say, okay this game isn't for me anymore. And just move on. A game doesn't need to suck for you to leave it.
Leaving feedback and then saying you haven't played for months kinda invalidates everything you said.
This isn't your feedback but someone elses you are just parroting

If it was feedback, why is it in the Wrong Forum Subsection? They clearly just want attention.

I mean it is feedback cause the game is #########, community is toxic AF, and one day the game will die <3

Community is toxic as heck i'll give you that. That's why you need to stop hanging around it when you don't play the game anymore. It just sours the memory of the game
Game being bad is subjective
Everything and everyone will die one day

This is so relatable 😂

I think it all snowballed after myers.
Imagine this game with the sony exclusive polish, with bungie working on it ( sony own them )

Dude, you're not missing much. The game is getting boring as hell. It's the same old crap.
If you play survivor, you get hard tunneled or camped out of the game.
If you play killer, it's all gen rush, dead-hard, and t-bags.
Both sides are unfun to play at this point.

Not always "bro" ;)

Everyone hangs out / monitors general discussions. The other channels are where threads go to die.

Ok see you next week

We come back because we want to see this game grow

And also because Texas chainsaw isn’t released yet trust that game is gonna bury dbd if they don’t do something fast Friday the 13th was never like this I love dbd a lot but the devs make this game worse all the time to the point where now the game is un enjoyable and just frustrates more than it brings joy which is sad the meta shakeup really did start the beginning of the end also the knight just made the grave deeper so is the skull merchant

Yeah but it will offer a well deserved break and will see a shift in active players and will be harder to find games if Texas chainsaw is as good as it looks you think Lil old dbd with its thousands of problems stale gameplay more campers than a nature reserve will be able to keep up I’m pre ordering that mf

*most killers and addons are trash
What's especially depressing about this is, that a lot of Killers that are not very engaging nowadays didn't use to be like that.
A lot of Killers have changed over the years and sadly not very often for the better.
There are Killers who received a "rebalancing" that utterly devastated them (Hillbilly and Deathslinger come to mind).
There are Killers who over time have been passively nerfed by the game changing around them without them adapting to it (Trapper [new grass] and Oni [healing meta] come to mind).
And there are Killers who received changes that, while not making them weaker, removed much of their uniqueness (Doctor and Spirit come to mind).
Add to this that there are a lot of Killers who are just not shaking up the gameplay all that much in the first place and you are left with not that many options, it gets quite stale.
Of course there are some left that are very fun (Huntress and Mastermind come to mind), but honestly I don't have faith that they are going to stay like that. Not with BHVRs history of Killer changes.

fair points but let me remind you that
1- there's going to be perk changes in the midchapter and every midchapter after hopefully as the devs promised to shake up meta and stuff
2- the bloodweb is getting a rework as was revealed to make it not take ages and will probably be in the midchapter
3- tools of torment is a flop chapter yes but this year we got dredge , wesker , knight imo all very solid and creative killers and anniversary should be huge so ig one failed chapter is not that bad and it's still new content at least
4- there are a lot of solid killers in the game just like there's a lot who are not but i agree on the addon part a lot of them need an addon pass
