If I knew the flashlight timing to a T before the changes when Knight came out I would be so ******. I guess I get it from BHVR's perspective though.

Yes, flashlights basically were given a buffer; when the killer is picking up a survivor, you can blind them up to 0.4 seconds too early and you’ll still get the save. So the timing is far more lenient.

They also got a nerf though, locker saves are impossible now.

they changed flashlights so that you can't click them super fast any more. because of this, you can't release your flashlight for a frame if you realize you started slightly too early, so they added a buffer window to compensate. because of that buffer time, that means a lot more people are able to pull off flashlight saves than before

it gets really annoying because almost every game has 3 or more flashlights. its to the point Lightborn is a requirement if i don't wanna slug

I get more utility out of Franklin's. Works with any carried item.

Yes, now almost anybody can do a save. One has to have a very bad timing to fail a flash-save.

Kinda, flashlights saves are easier to time thanks to a buffer window. Besides that, no. Nothing changed

They may have also improved aiming the flashlight (at least on PS4) as the beamer animation doesn't seem as clunky and disjointed as it previously was after the patch.

Flashlight saves are extremely easy now, its probably the reason.
