The Game Map Pallet Count
Why haven't the devs reduced it?
It's things like these that make the playbase hate them.
Edit: I'm seeing a lot of survivor mains are here lmao.

Probably because the map has limited vault locations on the top floor, but it really doesn't matter as sometimes you can thrive off of that (ie pallet Freddy or spirit fury)

I’m actually pretty certain it did get reduced. I’ve been noticing a lot of pallet-less spots that always used to have pallets.

Until I read it in a patch note, pallet count needs to be reduced.

So we should make it easier for Plague, Huntress and Trickster then? The top floor is their playground and the bottom floor has a few to no safe pallets other than the ones next to basement and the other behind the stairs which will eventually get broken.

Even Otz - killer main considers the map killer sided. The map has nothing but pallets. If killer can slow the game a little bit, survivors don't stand a chance. Because it's permanent deadzone.
The map can't have any less pallets, until it gains some windows. And the map is specifically designed to show how it could look like if no windows are in game.

I agree. There's a long pallet spawn upstairs, not sure how to describe it, it's a long metal structure on one side that gets low midway and a higher machine on the other side. That used to be a guaranteed spawn, but now I hardly remember to have seen a pallet in that spot for weeks.
In general, the map is in a weird spot balance wise in the way it's structured.

Because the map just has to many flawed designs.
Has so many pallets, but even still has a good kill rate for killers for many other factors.
And you have OG the game, it had less pallets, it was the most killer sided map in the game at the time.
Unfortunately the map is just not fun or well designed for either side.
I guess just breath before going there, or go there for the funny pallet breaking build. Because, ultimately there are many other maps the devs should look for changes before the Game

Otz killer main, nice joke otz said that the game is a map of killers because it's hard for survivors to find a generator
any player with 10+ hours in the game already knows all generator spawns
so please ask the opinion of real killer main like tru3ta1ent

Actually me too. If I use gideon offering, I am most likely on killer - specifically Bubba doing pallet challenge (similarly saloon for breakable walls, but the game is good for that too)

not every map needs to be safe against every killer. some maps are better for certain killers and worse for others and tbh more maps should be like that

I like it as a change of pace from the structure of every other map. It's painful to play on as most killers. Like if I'm playing low/no regression dredge the survivors basically just get to win and there's not a lot I can do about it. But that's okay. It's still a change of pace.

Wouldn't you rather have a fair shot at winning while the map still has its own structure? The structure of the map wouldn't be changed, just the amount of pallets.

The Game is what happens when you just throw pallets at a map to fix a flawed design. There's very little room for skill expression when most of the pallets are god pallets and there's seemingly ALWAYS another pallet you have to chew through, yet the map is so small and claustrophobic that the Killer still wins most matches anyway.
All in all, not a great experience for either side. My advice would be, take out a bunch of pallets, and put in more windows/tiles to compensate.

I actually like to go to this map when having pallet challenge - does not matter which side.
And yes - the map is special, but it's far from one-sided (and as I said earlier - it on average favors killers, but sure it's not a rule - nurse/nemesis are very easy. Freddy and Clown very hard).
