Is there any reason as to why we're still not getting more graphical options
FPS uncap, anti alising options, DLSS, shadow quality, texture quality, and much more. They're all missing for years now and I can't see the reason as to why they're still refusing to add more flexibility when it comes to graphics.

Yeah the game being locked at 60 was always weird to me. Higher frame rates wouldn’t give a huge advantage in the game and it’s system requirements aren’t high enough to warrant one

Because people still play the game even though it lacks basic graphics settings that are available in pretty much every other game. Unless it’s something that is going to bring in more revenue or prevent a major loss in revenue, the devs ain’t gonna work on it.

where are my fov sliders
I just wanna not get headaches and motion sickness :(
(i will also take 60 fps on consoles)

fov sliders would mean some perks in game are even more useless so its not gonna happen

Being unable to increase res above native. That shouldn't be that hard to put in right?
There' re hacks to increase internal res but they don't work too well for me.

Yes please

Yeah this game should definitely have more customizable options on the next gen systems. PS5 and Xbox series X are definitely capable of higher frame rates and FOV sliders (which should be standard on all platforms). I can understand needing to customize graphical fidelity in order to get the game to run better on PC, but it's kind of a moot point on console.
Regardless, FPS needs to be higher with the ability to increase FOV, especially on console, because there are some killers that are just too much of a pain to play with a controller versus mouse and keyboard (Trickster, Nemesis, Blight, etc).

You can uncap fps in the game files. You can also tweak texture qualities.

Not on console.

You're right but since OP is talking about DLSS they're talking about Pc. Also doesn't the game run at 120 on current gen consoles?

It's locked at 60 on next gen I believe, and my Xbox1 often went into the teens in the middle room of Lery's

How about Ps5 and Series X?

Depends on the day.
You can get some awful fps drops on newer maps. Haddonfield, Garden of Pain and RPD come to mind.

That's what I meant by next gen, sorry. Capped at 60 fps on PS5 and both Xbox Series machines as far as I know. And I cannot call it a steady 30-60 frames either, depending on the map, killer powers, some other known frame drop triggers.
There's somethings about how this game, and only this game, is coded that the consoles have tremendous difficulty digesting. Pour one out for our Switch cousins, they get the worst end of that stick too.

I like how we've all pretty much reconciled calling that map Garden of Pain now.

I'm suprised at least on XSX and PS5 there's still no option to chose graphic / performance mode.
Not even asking for 120fps, but just STABLE 60fps at 1080p and 4k should be standard in 2023.
It even says "optimized for Xbox Series X|S", and i don't really see it.

You don't see it, nor feel it, cause it ain't there fam
