Why didn't you make mother's dwelling smaller?

It absolutely boggles the mind that you guys reworked the map, a map that almost everyone can agree is far too big and do NOTHING about it. Especially a problem when most people are now playing offerings that have a 50% chance of giving you the map.

They also left the easily exploitable main building window in the RNG rotation. Seems it was visual update only and not gameplay.

They had been saying it was visual only.

It should have its size cut in half, but BHVR can do no wrong I guess.

    OP is 100% right.

What in tarnation... is the point of dedicating artists on this map, only to have them, at a later date, work on said map AGAIN when and IF the devs wake up and finally decide to address gameplay issue on said map.

To me, what this move means in terms of messaging to the comnunity is:

"This map's design is good, and you will like it!"

    What a bad call...

The map -is- smaller, by a significant amount. So is the Temple of Purgation.

Funny, I just played it not even an hour ago and it actually seemed larger than I remember.

Compare certain landmarks. The smoke house for example is WAY closer to the map edge walls than it was before. It's also a bit closer to the hunting cabin than it was before.

Lets make something clear, IF they did make it smaller it does not look like it and they didn't do enough. The map is STILL far too big.
