should solo survivors receive an early beginning buff?
the new survivor hud was a way to bridge the gap between solo and swf but solos are still doing badly overall.
why not give beginning solo survivors a buff early on faster running speed, gen repair speed, or aura reads where their fellow survivors are located for the first 60 seconds of the match? All 4 survivors must have queued in seperately no teams of two or three or four.
it would not affect swf any since they are the most efficient group in dbd currently.
any thoughtful discussions?

Sure, that could be a fun Perk or Offering. Like Shroud of Binding.

Killers already lose 2 gens on average at the conclusion of the first chase, why do they need a gen repair speed buff?

If anything killers need an early game slow down…not to make it even worse.

This game would fall to pieces if survivors started the game with their perks, items, and some weird basekit buff.
Solo survivors can't be made better by constantly throwing stuff into the game. Like believe it or not we have a lot of tools already probably more than we need. Playing survivor isn't difficult enough to warrant getting basekit buffs imo considering that at this point any difficulties should come down to skill issue or bad luck.

No... they have all of the power at the start of the match so why give the Survivors even more
6 -
Absolutely not. Survivors are already at their strongest at the beginning of the match and gens go too quickly at the beginning of the match.

the data still doesnt show that apparently

Well their data is for kill rates which is flawed for a multitude of reasons for use in measuring balance.

Here's my thoughtful response: Skill issue.
Like you said, Status HUD Icons bridge the game between SoloQ and SWF, and now you only need to have a little of brain process running to be able to coordinate with your fellow survivors. You even can know when you should let go that gen or not as they make it show you when someone is being chased.
Survivors have enough advantages and hand holding as is right now. If anything, is time to start implementing QoL and some basekit buffs to killers.

it seems to me that you just need to make it so that at the stage of the game lobby / the game itself, the survivors saw each other's perks
