I knew trap placements were bad, but them being THIS bad is a crime. Who on earth has the time to go to literally the corner of the map to pick a Trap up.
Make Trap placements more in the center, not the edges. #BuffTrapper

The devs don’t want anyone playing trapper. He is only intended for new players and the movie and marketing. If they wanted him played he wouldn’t be the worst killer in the game
stop complaining and do what we all do. Go learn nurse blight and spirit.

Although you might be shocked how many times the immersed "blendette" type players who only sneaks around the edge of the map will get caught in one of those traps. Sometimes I just have fun just to meme and put them around the edges. It wont necessarily work for most players but it will always work for a certain type of player. I originally found this out when I used the addon that automatically sets a trap automatically every so often. One player kept getting caught at the edge of the map.

Part of committing to the Evan lifestyle is accepting that you're spending half a gen to get that trap and place it in a map with almost no grass against Seal Team SWF. Do that for 2 or 3 games, then play Nurse and 4k at 4 gens.

Trapper should just start each match will all of his traps; BS RNG like this is just one reason why.

Trapper needs to be carrying all of his traps by default imo. Good survivors avoid traps easily anyway, and then if you have to go around the whole map and waste time picking traps up, you're doomed. And yeah, this contributes to Trapper being the worst killer in the game right now. The DBD icon himself. It's sad.
Make him carry all of his traps by default, and be able to pick them up. Nerf his basement camping abilites if needed. It shouldn't be that a Trapper wins if he manages to hook someone in the basement, but most likely loses if he doesn't. His success shouldn't revolve around the freakin' basement smh.

Not everybody wants to play nurse blight or spirit, maybe some people actually really like trapper. And maybe they want the posterboy of this game to be better. Blasphemy I know, but maybe, just maybe, some people don't want to learn 3 killers they don't want to play in the first place just so they can have some semblance of fun.

Right? I think loopwise the map is in a okay'ish spot, but you can't see anything from far away because the map is way to big, it all disappears into the render distance.
And for it's size, the main building is laughably small and irrelevant. It feels like old Blood Lodge, but orange.

I mean, I'm by no means a Trapper main or anything. I don't even enjoy playing him, I had a daily to kill someone with my own hands, hence why I'm using Rancor, Devour and an Ebony. But after seeing this, I was shocked and felt bad for all the Trapper Mains.

Tbh, the first trailer featured Trapper carrying his victims into the basement, so it is kind of his "chillout zone".
But all that is outdated as heck, Trapper needs massive buffs and basement shouldn't exist in the current state of the game.

Traps shouldn't spawn in corners like that. There's only like 2 maps where a random corner trap might work - Lery's and Midwich. They should not only make his traps spawn in more convenient locations to collect but also basekit start with them all open and ready to go.

- You wouldn't need to have all your traps at the beginning to do that, you could gather and place them all, or simply use the trapper sack, so his three gen potential really wouldn't be any greater than it is now

Imagine if they actually optimised the fog and then used it to hide the poor render distance on that map while also bringing back one of the main aesthetic points of the game.

- Im a Trapper main and I do want alot of buff for him. Alot of buffs. But starts with all traps isnt one.
- Gather them takes alot of time, 3 Gens is impossible unless survivors leave 3 Gens zone by luck.

Well I'm very sorry I couldn't convey your sarcasm through a line of text, when a lot of people in this community thinks that way.
But yes, trapper needs a buff. Same with Micheal, they are both incredibly outdated and don't really fit into the game anymore, they were meant for old DBD. Idk about Ghostface though, he could stand to get a couple of buffs but I think that he's mostly fine where he is.

Nah, game was already over when I went there. Just wanted to analyze if I was insane or if that trap was truly in the corner. I had an eye on that trap the entire time but once it was over I had to go there and check for myself.
But once I hit Exposed with Devour, both Totems were done at the same time xD
