Meta perk changes both sides

With the mid chapter coming soon I believe we’re going to get more perk changes. Here I’m going to change the meta perks of how they should be changed. I’ll come back to this thread and see if my changes actually came true.

Survivor meta perks

Dead Hard

Simply this perk is to good for its own good. To compensate for its 3rd healthstate we’re removing exhaustion so once it activates it’s permanently disabled if you get the perk to work or not. Endurance will be 0.50/0.75/1 seconds.

If you get hit with dead hard you will gain the broken status effect until you are unhooked.

Adrenaline

This perk is mostly fine cause like NOED you have to play with only 3 perks and it rewards you in the end. We’re removing the wake-up part of the perk cause we don’t want perks to completely counter killers(Freddy Kruger).

If your unhooked when the exit gates are powered you won’t get healed your healthstate. This is to make it more fair and not reward when your on the hook you should be awarded it when you complete all the gens and not when your hooked.

Circle Of Healing

This perk went Though a lot. Being incredibly op on the PTB, being very strong on release and still being a go to perk. The main complaint is it has no interactions with the other boons and it can be placed far away. For this we’re removing the self heal action. This will make it so you have to bring a medkit or have someone else heal you. The healing speed will be increased to 90/95/100%.

Prove Thyself

This perk was buffed long ago and became one of the best. Before I change the killer perks this one needed to be looked at. We’re simply decreasing the repair speed bonus from 15% to 8% per survivor. Which will be a maximum of 24%. Very simple change.

Killer meta perks

this section will be a little shorter cause there’s only 2 that need changes.

Call Of Brine

This perk is incredibly versatile but with the 3 gen meta it became overbearing. To change this Call of brine will now only activate on the gen you kicked. The duration of the perk will continue until the survivor stops working on that gen. The regression will be increased to 250/275/300% to compensate.

Overcharge

This perk while not as strong can be a huge problem with solo players and with the 3 gen playstyle. Just like COB it can only activate on one generator. To once again compensate the regression will be increased to 150% at the start and then 300% after 30 seconds. You can activate the perk once the skillcheck was failed or succeeded or the gens progress hits zero. The perk will shut off to indicate you can use it again.

The killer section was short cause this mainly focused on the gen kick meta. Eruption was already nerfed so we just had to finish it.

These changes probably won’t happen cause I was nice with my changes. There not as nice with nerfs. I’ll come back to this thread in 2 weeks to see if it came true.

    Nerfing the problematic meta perks is fine but I'm more concerned with buffs for the weak perks that no one uses.

    Maybe exhaustion should remain on dh, because you can sprint burst into dh, but you proposed some really smart changes. GG for you, hope behaviour read your post and make this changes.

    I like all the changes but Adrenaline. I don't think that perk should be touched.

    COH you should still be able to heal, but at the same speed as self-care.


    Note - I play Survivor and Killer equally.

    Dead hard is fine and it's at the healthiest state it's ever been,,

    I can see circle not working for multiple floors ( all boons for that matter)

    Prove can be burned to the ground even harder than eruption

    Adren should never be touched,,it's perfectly fine

    i don't think the way to go is to nerf call or overcharge,,i'd rather have them hit the 3 gen at its core by fixing gen spawns but that simply cannot be done without fixing map sizes first

    I'd like to see STBFL losing two stacks since killer hit recovery was buffed

    The only change I want to see is Call Of Brine losing it's information and putting it on Surveillance

    Overcharge it's either let the Gen regress or tap it and get the skillcheck...

    Dead Hard is more complicated then it appears... I would rather see what happens if the other Exhaustion perks getting buffed

    Prove Thyself doesn't need to be changed... but base progression needs to be looked at

    There’s no reason to nerf Overcharge, and Call of Brine still looks strong as ever.

    Lol yeah... no. All of these changes will kill the game, tunnelling is bad enough already, without that being changed none of these changes would make sense and killers would almost always win, i'm talking a 90%+ winrate.

    You clearly don't play both equally if you think COH should be the same speed as self care lmao, why would anyone run across the map to heal at the same speed as a perk that can heal anywhere?

    Because self-care is selfish. If every one wants to use it, they all need the perk.

    COH is one perk slot for one survivor that can heal the whole team.

    I understand that but the point i'm trying to make is it made more sense to nerf self-care because you could heal while in a chase, effectively making you invincible lol. Self-care you have to run across the map to heal, don't get me wrong I do think it is strong but self care was the better choice to nerf
