Streamer mode = No reporting

Any reason we still cant report people in streamer mode? Most matches my friends and i play with streamer mode killers end up being heinously toxic or in some manner harassing in the endgame chat.

This wraith got ran by me at cowtree for three gens so he tunneled me out and then facecamped each hook, then proceeded to stand in the corner of the map and let everyone else escape after i died. That, im fine with, oh well. His ego was hurt so he wanted me. The issue i have is that in end game chat directly after, he tells me to hang myself?? I dont understand why behavior thinks its ok to omit reporting for streamer mode killers :D

You can still report them. Spoiler alert, they aren't going to do anything. No chance dude gets banned for that seeing as how they don't even ban for auto dead hard scripts

You can still report them ! The end game score board just has a horrible, horrible UI !

To access the report panel, you have to click on the "killer" / "died" / "escape" symbol just right of the player's score. It will spawn a window with a "thumbs up/thumbs down" symbol that allows you to access the report screen.

From there, you can report them for Griefing, Harassment, Cheats and Trolling. Reporting them this way will flag the match to BHVR support and save the endgame chat.

For verbal abuse in the chat, this form of reporting is enough, for ingame griefing, you also need an actual support ticket with video evidence.

So yes, it's possible to report streamer mode, the report panel is just extremely badly designed ! Plenty of players just don't even know it exists, so that's a very common mistake.

Hopefully there won't be a next time, but if there is, you'll be prepared now =)

Just a couple of clarifications here:

    • Verbal abuse in the chat does not require tickets, only the in-game report is needed and you can do that by clicking on the thumbs up/down symbol to the right of the player's name in the tally screen.
    • Anonymous mode doesn't stop you from reporting someone, as they changed the ticket form when the mode was implemented to not require SteamID, profile link or nametag anymore; that information can be gathered by the Support team through the in-game report and the other details you give in your ticket.

And regarding this, you are comparing a clear death wish to something hard to prove that also requires more evidence than just an in-game report.

You can still report them just like any other player. I really don’t get why this false statement somehow still floats around or how it even started??

also, yeah BHVR is taking action on these kind of reports, even though some people are desperately trying to act like BHVR doesn’t.
