Outbreak Breakout Achievement
Why does this achievement require the survivor to open the exit gate?
Are 20 escapes on RPD not enough, in and of itself?
This might be the single worst achievement.
No one wants to play this map. You get players disconnecting while the game loads, if not killing themself on first hook or disconnecting the moment they get downed.
Needing to open the exit gate yourself is just icing on the cake.

Eh, i did it randomly the other day without even noticing it.
Don't get me wrong, if you only aim to get the achievement you will suffer a lot. I just found it funny that I did it randomly

Well if you bring rpd map offering every game and play selfisly you are bound to escape and eventually get it done. I got it that way probably in under few weeks to it release done.

I don't think I'd mind as much if the map and achievement had been in the game since early on. I'd view it as an achievement that I'd inevitably get done passively, even if it took a couple years.
My play style just doesn't lend itself to getting this achievement accidentally. I seldom open gates, as I'm either taking last chase or going to help whoever needs it. Often times I'll be the one to 99% a gate, then hang back and let someone else open it as I body block the killer

Just for fun, a youtuber actively seeking the achievement as it's literally the only one he hasn't done

They didn't think it through.
No, seriously, it's that easy.

This is literally me. I had 10, without actively trying to complete the achievement. And now it's just been pain making an effort to get the remaining 10. I've definitely played on the map over 150 times, because it is all that we'd get when Wesker came out, and I'd wager I even have a decent escape rate on it.
