Addon ideas for Huntress

As someone who plays a lot of Huntress myself, I personally find her addons to be a bit boring because of their very basic stat changes and basic number changes in rarity differences. I also find them to be a bit too strong, not in the "OP" kinda way but more like how universally good some of them are and some lower rarity addons being very strong for their rarity. If you disagree, that's totally okay! This isn't meant to be a super serious suggestion or feedback note saying "huntresses addons need to be changed immediately" (hence it not being in the feedback section, but maybe it would still belong there idk). I just thought it'd be fun to go through and try to think of more interesting effects for her addons, so try not to take it too seriously! Also don't worry about the precise numbers or names too much, I kinda just spit them out and idk what numbers would fit any of these addons perfectly ofc.


Brown:

Yellowed Cloth | I think this would be a cute and nice effect and would make sense for a brown

-Reduces cooldown when cancelling a hatchet throw by 40%

Weighted Head | This one certainly requires explanation lol. So obviously it's a meme addon, but the idea with the reduced flight speed is to make it so that you could hit survivors who are close to you but behind obstacles. Since the flight speed changes the arc of the hatchets, ideally a reduced flight speed would let you hit survivors say, on the other side of a hill. It would be niche of course but I think it'd be pretty neat!

-Decreases hatchet flight speed by 60%

-Grants 100% bonus bloodpoints for hitting a survivor with a hatchet

Bandaged Haft | This addon is just meant to help after missing, with the second bullet point just so that it doesn't get ridiculous, which I think is reasonable

-Cooldown in between hatchet throws instantly ends when the last thrown hatchet breaks

-This addon can only reduce the the cooldown in between hatchet throws by a maximum of 1 second

Pungent Phial | Pretty silly one, idea is just to make the very best out of an unlikely scenario, similar to Pig's addons related to failing skill checks

-Survivors have their auras revealed when inside lockers that have the auras of the hatchets inside them revealed

-Automatically reload when grabbing a survivor out of a locker


Yellow:

Shiny Pin | This is the same as before, I think it's fine for a yellow

-Increases movement speed while holding a hatchet by 5%

Mana Grass Braid | This wouldn't reduce time to wind up a hatchet, just the time in between finishing the windup and fully charging. Not great but I don't think it'd be terrible either

-Decreases time to fully charge a hatchet after winding it up by 40%

Lightweight Head | Silly little effect, I imagine it'd be useful especially the first time

-Winding up a hatchet is silent

Flower Babushka | The idea with this is help more but in less universal situations. This addon as it is right now can make the difference between a hit or not very very often, again not saying its op, just something I find a bit boring, the los requirement is a bit finnicky for sure but I think it'd just be interesting for being more efficient around short loops and in the open

-Increases windup speed by 25% when looking at a survivor with clear line of sight

Soldier's Puttee | Pretty simple effect, would come into play around loops sometimes, kinda boring but still kinda neat imho

-Movement speed is not reduced during cooldown between hatchet throws


Green:

Venomous Concoction | Same as is now, probably fine

-Survivors hit by hatchets suffer from the exhausted status effect for 5 seconds

Rusty Head | Same as is now but with the hemorrhage effect added, since that's typical for green addons on other killers

-Survivors hit by hatchets suffer from the mangled and hemorrhage status effects until healed

Rose Root | I like the idea of this addon very much but I think the number on it right now is just a bit too low, cranking that up to possibly even 60 (would have to be playtested obv) I don't think would be very oppressive and probably more fun than anything

-Increases hatchet flight speed by 40%

Oak Haft | I think this would be pretty cool, the range requirement is so that this addon isn't as effective at camping, but I think it would still be helpful when in the open, kinda niche but would definitely be fun imo

-Cooldown in between hatchet throws instantly ends when a survivor is hit by the last thrown hatchet from further than 16 meters away

Deerskin Gloves | Kinda the same as now but with a weird kinda buff, this one I was just kinda messing around with since nobody's really reloading at 4 hatchets anyways, but shrug lol

-Increases reload speed at lockers by 15% per each hatchet below maximum


Purple:

Wooden Fox | I think for a purple this definitely should suppress the lullaby, I think it'd be fine since stealth isn't insanely reliable anyways

-Grants the undetectable status effect and suppresses the lullaby for 30 seconds after reloading

Leather Loop | Same as is now but purple instead of yellow, because it's worth that higher rarity imo

-Start the trial with 1 additional hatchet

-Grants the ability to carry 1 additional hatchet

Glowing Concoction | Same as is now cuz its a dope effect

-Survivors hit by hatchets have their aura revealed to you for 5 seconds

Blunt Head | This would just be sick honestly, fully charged stipulation is there to avoid it becoming oppressive, and perhaps could have another one that makes the time to fully charged a hatchet fixed in case it would be broken with Mana Grass Braid, not sure if it would be though

-Fully charged hatchets break pallets and breakable walls when coming into contact with them

-Fully charged hatchets don't break when coming into contact with pallets or breakable walls


Iridescent:

Infantry Belt | I have no idea how exactly this should work, but it would absolutely be a dope effect

-Somehow throw a barrage of multiple hatchets at the same time

Iridescent Head | Bit of a rework here, to make the addon hopefully a little more fun to use, since right now only having 1 hatchet is just a bit "eh," while also hopefully reducing it's effectiveness at camping, though there might be some spots where you could camp from afar effectively, that would have to be kept in mind

-Survivors hit by hatchets from further than 16 meters away are automatically put into the dying state


Again, this isn't meant to be a crazy request to change Huntresses addons, just something fun! Let me know if you have any cool ideas for Huntress addons :o
