Weak killers will stay weak, strong killers become stronger
Why does it feel like DbD is pure capitalism? The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Hillbilly only get small scraps while spirit, nurse and blight having full diner experience for years unnoticed. Everyones celebrating not realizing how small of the buff hillbilly is getting. Thinking outside the box isn't common for folks.
Why won't all the weaker killers such as Skull Merchant, Trapper, Nightmare, Shape, Twins, Pig, Trickster, Clown, Bubba, Doctor, Deathslinger, Legion, Ghostface, Knight, Hag, Cenobite, Nemesis, Demogorgon, Dredge, Wraith and Onryo?
Is it because you find them annoying to play against? You don't like to play against these killers? This nonsense and whack excuses has to stop because this is exactly how these killers are getting nerfed to gutter trash tier.

The fact that you have somehow managed to cram economic politics into a discussion about Dead by Daylight killer balance is beyond me.

Same goes for SWF/soloq shenanigans too!

did bro just call knight and hag weak

My first impression as well. Reminds me of those people on Facebook/Twitter/et al that have the ability to somehow make ANY conversation about Trump. It's unreal.

It's the same with swfs and solo too. Survivors aren't all on equal footing either, much like killers aren't. Swfs can adapt to and work around most changes with little impact. I can't see that changing any time soon, nor that BHVR have the time or manpower to do so.

weak killers are weak because they lack one(or more) major elements that are required to be a strong killer.
Clown will always be weak due to no map control
Ringu will always be weak due to no chase power etc
The killers that are straight up just missing key features needed to dominate a match are hard to make strong without making them unfair in someway. Take old deathslinger for an example, He was one of if not the most brutal killer in the 1v1 outside of nurse/blight. You only could run a deathslinger for any amount of time if they were a weaker player but he wasn't OP because that's all he had. He was extremely oppressive in the 1v1 but just because he had an average winrate doesn't mean he was in a healthy state.

I think he's talking about top tier killer. Will the upcoming regression nerfs you can only get value from getting downs and there are alot of killers not built for fast downs. The problem is that with these killers need early game regression because they have a ramp up power or don't really become dangerous untell mid to late game after resources have been used.

Pinhead is weak?!

He is, he is oppressive but not exactly strong.
Basically better variant of pig.

If the survivors aren't potatoes, yes. Low-mid MMR survivors really seem to struggle with handling the box. At high MMR, everyone knows exactly when to pick it up and when to use it so as to almost completely deny the killer value from it. The HUD update -- which was fine, I'm not complaining about it -- also helped a ton to coordinate who goes for the box.
He's annoying to face, but he's not difficult to beat.

Weak killers need buffs, simply put. I'd love Ghostface to have a looping tool built-in. The fact his power can be completely stolen is silly. I'd love to see his crouch actually have some sort of actual function. Would be nice if it at least muted his footsteps.

The problem is that a lot of those killers you listed have had balance changes in the past few years and for some reason BHVR refuses to adjust a killer after they already have been for years. It's like they have a list and once a killer gets a buff/nerf they go to the bottom and you need to wait for everyone else to be changed first.
It took over 2 years for Hillbilly to receive any changes after his previous rework, which was very negatively received.
Freddy hasn't received anything after his previous nerfs despite being in the worst state he's been in since his release.
Trapper got an add on rework, but hasn't received any other changes since despite it not addressing any of his issues.
Trickster received buffs shortly after his release and now he's been forgotten by everyone except the cosmetic department.
Clown was reworked but is still in a bad spot and has not received any buffs since then.
Nurse got a slight rework rework that didn't make much of a difference and now over 3 years later she finally received another nerf.
So as you can see, once a killer gets a balance update they don't tend to receive anything really for another few years except for maybe a few add ons changes or minor number tweaks.

According to that last data post wasn't he one of the best killers in the game? Yeah seal team six might cakewalk him but come on do all survivors have to be compared to a full stack of top tier swfs

If we take that data into seeing killer strenghts then sadako is way better than nurse and should be nerfed due to an outrageous killrate, same with dredge.

I was so excited for dead hard to die so I could feel free to use M1 killers like Sadako and not feel the pain of getting hit with a free chase extender. Sadly DH is no longer dying.

I was excited for dead hard to die, because I also had killers, like Trickster, that I completely dropped when the dead hard rework happened, and now I still won’t use them, because is still powerful enough that those lower tier killers will be miserable to play.
